Under 30ft • Private Bed • HUGE Bath!! 2023 North Trail 22CRB

This was the unit for us! We purchased a 2022 CRB and we are in love with it! From weekends to three week long trips. Huge bath, huge pantry, tons of storage, two grey tanks, no better layout out there! We are pulling with a 1/2 ton (V8 / 3.92) and no issues. We even went from Houston to Colorado and through the Monarch pass (11,300 ft). We added an Electrical 2000W fireplace (fits perfectly underneath the TV) and we didn't have to use the gas furnace. 4" roof and 2" walls helped to maintain the temperature inside when outside is either 30 or 110 ºF. Only con: the humongous front storage invites you to put everything there, which can lead to an excess of tongue weight. Ours goes almost empty. We can't be happier! I was waiting for your review on this model!

We bought a 2021 Caliber addition. Had solid counter top in the kitchen and a porcelain toilet. We love the Rv and the bedroom being blocked off is not that big of a deal. We keep our cloths in the bathroom where you will be changing them anyways. Just coats hanging in the bedroom and shoes under the bed. We live in Montana, So there is always a coat in the truck.

This is a really nice travel trailer! I like the gray palette. Very neutral and you could jazz it up with pillows or other decor to emphasize a color you like. The large bathroom is wonderful! I didn't see any power outlets in the bathroom however. I'm hoping there is one on the interior wall and it just wasn't shown in your overview. I appreciate the doors on the linen storage and a larger size shower. Overall a great job on the bathroom! I appreciate the large pantry space but it really needs a door. Even putting items in bands I think there would be a large instance of items falling out and you would either have a lot of broken glass when you arrived at your campsite or would have your pantry all over the floor. I agree a slide splash would be a great addition and very helpful. I appreciate the outlet in the kitchen being right near the counter for easy access. But a pop-up Power Tower that might have a couple of additional outlets on it would be my preference. I like the 12 volt refrigerator and the sofa is interesting. It would make a fantastic lounging couch for myself and my three dachshunds although I would definitely prefer theater seats but if that is not an option this is not a bad second choice. It appears that the dining table attaches on or slides into a holder on the front of the couch. My preference is a standalone table that you can place at distance that is most effective for your needs. Also a freestanding table can be taken outside and used or utilized as additional countertop prep space if cooking inside. I would definitely go down to a queen size bed and I agree with your comments on the lack of struts in upper cabinets as well as some type of way to better utilize the underbed storage without having to lift up the entire mattress. I think it could easily be fixed by leaving the side supports there and adding struts or leaving the area open where you could place storage bins or some other type of containment system to hold clothing or shoes. Overall, a very nice trailer!

No vents on the floor in the bathroom. At least not near the toilet. Awesome. Josh you hit on a good point about the back splash. Somehow grease just doesn't splatter in an rv........wrong. I just make sure I keep wiping the area if I fry. I would take the batteries out of the clickers and store them in the contraband area.

You would lose the bathroom storage witch is your cloth closet ones you figure that out. A foot next to the stove top would not make that much of a difference. We put a cutting board over half the sink when needing prep and its perfect. The Tv that came in ours slants down and works fine setting or laying in the bed.

I just purchased a 2021 of this as my first RV. The big bazooka butt bathroom sold me, lol. I love the roominess of it. I only hope to find someone that has one of these with knowledge of all the ports and switches as the manufacturers don't publish model specific information. All documentation is generic for the companies entire fleet. Useless to a newbee like myself. Great video and explanation to the bell and gongs of this model. BTW... that dining table is not a good idea in the first place. Mine is unusable as the top mounting screws are weak and will no longer support the angled post coming up to the table. I give that a gong for a non functional device after a year or two of use at best.

Man it's seriously tough to find a smaller trailer where you could configure your entertainment setup the way you want it specifically placing or upgrading the TV to a 55inch OLED I know it's tight but so what lol this floor plan is nice to begin with but it feels like Finally! I would be replacing the bed with a camp queen and rebuilding the storage under it to have four big drawers. I would like an option for manual Stabilizer jacks. I would have at least 200w.

The closed bedroom has yet to be an issue for us with 20+ trips in 2 years. The kitchen is a corner kitchen in a smaller Rv, Common. Our Caliber 2021 model came with solid counter tops with sink covers. But, We chose to take the covers off and not travel with them. We just take a cutting board and set it over half of the sink. Gives plenty or work space and there is really a lot of room around the back and side of the sink.

This floor plan is PERFECT for weekend getaways. love the sofa...and the nice sized bathroom. the bath sink is too small and needs to be porcelain or something...not plastic. the windows are placed in right places as well. I would prefer bdrms always be on the backend..due to possible noise in the front area where the road may be. but overall...I REALLYYYYYY like this one..and its affordable. only one thing i didn't care for..the color palette. it was too blah for me. gray is fine but something was off for me.

Cut a hole in that lift up under bed storage, Big enough for the table base to set in. Then you only have 1 inch under the bed and you can leave it there and sleep and wont notice it. We hardly ever run the table. The base fits in the couch storage.

I have a 2021 Model of this Northtrail; cabinetry and countertops are better ; residential toilet. Half ton towable? Depends on total payload availability, and added upgrades like a better quality mattress. Fully loaded gets a little sketchy with a short half ton. Table slides easily between Refrigerator and sofa.

Yeah that's a cable slide - I can be opened partially but you shouldn't _occupy_ the slide in that state. Only when fully opened.

Bump it right open as many inches as it takes to fit in. Its a fast slide and most only need 8 or so inches more to get in. There really should be nothing more then a coat in the closet or shoes under the bed. All the cloths fit in the bathroom where you will be needing them anyways.

They bumped that cabinet out in 2022 and now it hits the sofa. I have a 2021 and its close but dont touch and you can step over a lot easier with the slide closed. We bought our 21 when the 22 was just coming out for that reason alone. You could put a soft towel between. I dont think there is going to be a bunch of movement, But a soft towel would stop the rub.

I think I love this. I couldn't find it on the Bish's site, but other North Trail 22 models were available. Question--if you don't offer a specific model at the store nearest me (Salt Lake City, in this case) would I have to go to another store, like Meridian, ID for example, to get what I want, or can we have a camper delivered?

It proved popular enough that we sold out at all 8 of our North Trail carrying locations after I recorded the video. We're working on getting more Each store has a specific lineup. A store cannot sell what they don't carry locally. But we can basically fulfill your request thru a sister store & work out some logstics to get the RV to you Local team members can assist more directly!

Probably because of how these were parked at this display -- couldn't get a good look at that side of the RV I don't believe this has a fully enclosed docking station and I am unable to recall if it has a single or dual water outlets There's *DEFINITELY* one in the back for the bathroom black & grey I *think* there's one in front of the tires just for the kitchen grey tank I don't believe they're plumbed together but I might well be mistaken

"Is the floor heated?" -- Could you clarify? The underbelly is forced air heated but the flooring itself isn't specifically heated. That's not something you tend to find outside of select motorized RVs This also is not tested quite down to that extreme of a weather event. It MIGHT be capable, but they don't test for it so I cannot offer any assurances

Aha i see , so the floor heat if i can say is the heating you can get from the underbelly thru the floor. Do i understand it correct ? In the european style you get them often with floorheating of some sort , and in the one i have now you can easy camp down to minus 20 C . And the wall is about 1" thick on my camper , Knaus Royale 590 from 2006 if you like to see it on youtube 🤗

@@kjellmagnestubhaug2839 Its a 30k Rv, Its not a 4 season. If the small furnace is running, It has one vent that blows in the plastic corrugated cardboard style under belly. You can add heaters under the tanks if you have shore power and you will need to heat the drains.

If I'm on that couch watching TV, I want the TV in front of me, not above me. Other than that, really like this layout and will add it to our watch list.

They say ist 5300lb and 500 hitch. Ours is 5670lb and with batteries and propane it sets pretty hard on My 2500HD sierra. When you load it with water and gear and fill that king kong storage. We added an equalizer for sway and that also does a little lift. We had air bags from our 35ft rv and I air them up as well. Im not sure if Id even want to tow this with a half ton.

Just curious -- can a backsplash be added on the side fairly cheaply after you've got the rv? If North Trail sold it, then could your service people put it in? Or do other people know if it's doable to add something to the side?

Nice layout, but, alas, no closet. I don’t get it? Where do you hang your stuff? If I an on a two to four week trek, this is not the unit for me. But, for some this would be cool I guess!

There are closets at both sides of the bed where you can use hangers for the clothing. Above the bed you can put your underwear and socks. Underneath the bed there is an open area where you can put your shoes. This unit has storage for everything. We took a 3 week trip from Houston to Colorado and it was wonderful!

Loke the comment below. Hanging storage on both sides of the bed and that storage behind the tub is 30 inches deep and you can pull pout a shelf and add a rack. We keep rain coats in the bedroom hanging spaces and shoes go under the bed storage. All out cloths go in the bathroom where you will be changing.

@@JoshtheRVNerd On the sides of the bed like all RVs. Its smaller, But you can stuff lots of hanging stuff in 10 inches of cabinet. The bathroom storage behind the shower has a removable shelf and you can add a hanger. They really though of everything in this little unit. And if you can fit your cloths for 2 weeks or a month in 96 cubic feet of king kong storage. You are doing it wrong. HAHAAHA Its has to be 60ish. I meen its 2ftx3ftx8ft. LOL

I’m just not feeling any love for this $44,000 entry level North Trail that is totally unequipped for off grid camping, and has a cheap plastic toilet, a 4 inch fart fan, no TV, no solar and no attached ladder☹️☹️☹️

Its 30k and fart fans all suck. Buy a real one. Mine came with a real toilet, But its a 2021 Caliber edition. Why not off grid? I live a week at a time just fine. TV should come with them. Solar is your pick. Clean a roof one weekly. Or store a folding one. Real folding one. Or rv company gifted one. You dont want on RV roofs. Why the ladder need? You dont walk on rv roofs. Park the truck next to it if you need to see the roof.

@@JohnDoe-fg2oq A “12V fridge” and no solar isn’t off grid capable unless you have multiple batteries and run a generator all day long. No $30,000 RV should come with a $2 bathroom fan period. It is impossible to check, clean and caulk your seals without getting on a roof, so an attached or telescopic ladder should be standard👍
