Merino was so elegant today, disappointed he didn't bury his two massive chances. Martinelli was typically predictable today, happy he got the goal but nothing to write home about. Saka didn't look his best today, which is surprising because he had the support of Odegaard and White today. Partey seems to be improving after every game, funny enough I still want to see Rice at the 6. Odegaard!!! So GOOD TO HAVE YOU BACK CAPTAIN! First game back, and he plays that well. Pressing, creativity and played the whole 90! All in all, I think people will be stupid to write us off. 11 games in 27 more to go. We need to close the 5 point gap to City before we think of the 9 to Pool.

Rice is the best 6 in the world when playing for a team that sits back and counters.. BUT he is useless vs low block teams. He just isnt that guy. It was very clear last season when we were scrambling for 1 goal wins and draws before the holidays with rice in the 6, then we switched to jorginho in the 6 after the saudi trip and then we started scoring 4-5-6 goals every game!

He’ll still be impactful on RW despite weirdly contrary belief. Felix and Nkunku are proven at the highest level, Enzo came on and got an assist for us also proven at the HIGHEST LEVEL. This isn’t a joke mate, Jackson, Madueke, Lavia are improving players what have they done at the highest levels? Managers like Flick, Pep, Klopp, TT, Slot, would know that.

No team can defend all 90 minutes without a reasonable or sustained outlet or breather. Also, our midfield has been below par and unstable. The midfield is almost inexistent this season bar Partey. With a scoring front line, the goals conceded would not have mattered. Also we rely too much on our centre back for build up and still expect them to defend like Maldini. The midfield is our biggest problem. We need technical midfielders and not sprinters! Rice is becoming a liability, looks like we have evolved past Rice.

A vast majority of football fans never see their teams win anything yet they persist in their support so what truly should be the primary expectation of a football fan. I believe it is that their team wins the next game and if trophies get won, so be it. Chelsea was lucky AF today. They got sucked in towards the ball and let Arsenal control the game after going ahead. A worrying performance and I’m sure Enzo Maresca is going to mask the defensive gaps saying the same thing always, we were in control the whole first half, they didn’t have a shot on goal, then they had a couple of chances in the second half but so did we blah blah. There’s a real problem at Chelsea in the back line with Tiago Silva not being replaced. The defense is young and prone to too many errors. And likewise in attack with Palmer, Madueke, Jackson etc. being invisible for most of the game and not being decisive in the final third. Maresca needs to get their decision making accurate and get the defensive shape in place. Chelsea fans need to stay grounded and ignore anyone who masks these basic errors with the fact that Chelsea are third.

Nah, how were arsenal in control and give up the equalizer? That draw was a completely fair result, and arguably Chelsea shouldve won it: gusto should’ve scored the header, and Sanchez should’ve made that save. Although obviously every Chelsea fan knows there are weaknesses. What we need is a keeper, sancho starting over madueke and moving Neto to his native position on the right, and bringing in Felix and nkunku earlier. Oh, and James should be starting over gusto, who seems prone to sending sitters over the bar (yes he’s not a striker but still).

Nwaneri would have brought in surely some energy to game towards end while Trossard and Jesus were wasteful. Both of them know they are leaving club. Sad we didn’t buy a ESR replacement the downfall started from Odegard injury he was the only similar player and Nwaneri not given enough chance. ESR performing well shows we made a mistake. Arsenal put in a slightly better performance against a well-structured Chelsea side. I actually predicted the draw, and that’s exactly what we got. Chelsea are a solid team, so managing a draw on their turf is a positive outcome for now. It’s great to see Odegaard back on the field. Things will get tougher for Arsenal, especially as some clubs seem intent on making it difficult. Arteta will need to develop specific strategies for each opponent, which I believe he’s capable of.
