I see why Kris is so upset. I think it may seem like she is being an uncaring mum but that is too simplistic. If you watch the whole episode, Kim alludes to the work ethic issue and how she would absolutely go even if she was not feeling well. I think this clip is an excellent example of what a massive role Kris has played in Kylie's success. Kylie would never have reached her business success without her mother's incredible work ethic and her hard work that helped brand her daughters. I think Kris feels bad because she understands that in the business world, no one would get away with what Kylie has done. Beyonce, Rihanna and other huge mega celebrities have never cancelled on publicly announced events for brands. There are financial penalties for breaking covenants and not turning up.
