You don't have to drill new hole for antenna you're right that is a knockout. You just have to gently hit it harder be careful not to hit the board maybe bend off tab with needle nose on the inside

Hi uou didn’t include step5 which is add MAC address to account. I did everything as stated all green lights good but when I login to my new account and try to add the pool using the MAC address at bottom of aqua connect home network it says MAC address not found 😠 help please

I have a Hayward AQL@-SS-RF Wireless Floating Remote for my E Command 4 but I do not know how to change the color of the LED lights using the remote, I can easily turn on and off.

How do you know what version of software you have? Version 4.20 and up?

Your setup looks almost like a mirror image of mine... I wonder if we had the same builder (I'm in Riverside county as well)... QUESTION: do you have to turn the handles to go from pool to spa? I didn't see any electronic actuators on your valves??

You should check with your pool equipment manufacturer and verify part and model numbers. I'm showing how to hook this up from nothing to controlling with your phone.

Question…. My pool heater is not controlled by my hayward mother board… would this be a problem to get the heater to work with the wireless system?

Yes, I would think so. There wireless is just communicating to the main Hayward controller.

What if you have a new base station plugged into the board but Teach Wireless doesn’t show on the menu?

The base station is not communicating with the controller. Problem is with the main board. Try plugging into another female plug below the one that is used now. All three are connected to control panel.

Hi, I have two hayward SP0527LED100(120v) lights with a switch and is pain in the ass to keep going outside to turn on and off. Can you guide me in the right direction on what to get. I'm not ready to spend the big money on the Omnilogic or similar. All I need to do is lights for now with the phone.

Link light is for when it has an ethernet cable plugged in and connected.

Great video! Got everything hooked up and can control through the browser using the last 3 digits of the mac address. I set up an aquaconnect account and when I registered the device using the mac address is said the "This unit is already registered! The request has not been processed." I bought the unit used off Amazon. Any idea how to unregister from the previous account?

Hayward has really dropped the ball in the last few years, I'm running Hayward Aqua Connect with Prologic 8 relay system and since their servers crashed a few weeks ago the system is intermittent at best if not unusable due to poor response. They have a new OmniPL Upgrade Kit that would help but its currently unavailable. Come on Hayward you're better than this, make the AquaConnect servers faster or release the PL Upgrade kit. It might be time to switch over to Pentair. Anyone looking at Hayward right now be very careful, consider Pentair
