Do you drain the filter or shut off external valves to prevent pool or hot-tub water from coming back up into housing once you 'pop the top'? You seem to be missing a few other steps. Most suggest gasket adhesive on one/bottom side, and lube on top side Also, valve handle setting position as well as lining up top/lid back to original location to housing.

How do you replace the lateral assembly on the Hayward SP0710X62 side mount filter tank?

Can I just take out the pin and remove the handle and replace the plastic washer under handle without taking everyting apart?

will this fit the pro-series S244T 24" with Vari-Flo top-mount filter control valve, plastic handle broke on mine.

I'm having some trouble with my filter i have no pressure when it is normal filter mode, also sand is shooting back into the pool in this mode,when i turn on the rinse mode sand fills in the glass The pump is working fine and i have a good flow of water going into the filter and returning to the pool but like i said there is no pressure reading on the gauge and sand is being shot into the pool,any advice would help

Samantha Ralston Thanks for the response ,,, it was the laterals inside the filter 2 were cracked .I did replace it ,,but after about a week I started getting sand in the pool again,, so not sure what is going on now.

Extremely worthless video, you (sorta) showed us how to loosen a screw, except you didn't even do that since it's a bolt & nut! 😡
