Back to one of our old favorites, the Haywood Smokehouse, for some Texas style beef brisket and BBQ.
Haywood Smokehouse currently has 3 locations...Waynesville, Dillsboro, and Franklin.

We love good BBQ (best we ever have had is right here in Indiana at Squealer's...........but we also have had GREAT bbq in TX, NC, SC, TN).......we go to PF/Gburg a couple of times a year and maybe could scoot over to Waynesville sometime for bbq. Thanks for the tip.

We actually drove over to Waynesville from P.Forge on Thursday, after watching your video of your last visit to Haywoods Smokehouse we wanted to try it.We really enjoyed the brisket and mac and cheese!Sorry we didn't get to meet you.We also loved the shops in town!Enjoy the festival!Wish we could have stayed longer and gone there as well!😀

We came up Friday evening to Maggie Valley, for just 1 night. We went to Darnell Farms in Bryson City on Saturday (yesterday). Video to come!

The second video on our channel was Waynesville and we've been back a few times since. It's such a great place! We do agree.... Give us Ladies and Men's restrooms. We know that's unpopular in today's society, but we miss the simplicity. Great video, y'all!!!

We also noticed the restrooms being like that in several restaurants/ stores in the area.We aren't used to seeing that here.Not yet anyway!

Yeah, we still prefer separate male and female restrooms. The funny thing is, we have been to this place several times before, and I don't remember it being that way those other times. Could have been, and maybe we just didn't notice. But it stood out to me this visit.

They have “campfire taters”. They aren’t i. The menu. They are cubes potatoes with skins with peppers and cheese. Very good.

@@cumberlandquiltchic1 Yes, we like the one in Waynesville the best. Although, we have not tried the Franklin location. We did try Dillsboro, and liked it. But there's just something about the one in Waynesville.

Because there’s alway a line for the women’s bathroom so with only 2 good that either can use it.

@@user-il2py5ez8m There wasn't a line that night for either one. I've been in an awkward situation with these single occupancy, unisex restrooms. Could've been avoided.
