its a motorized volume slider, its being pulled down by the computer because of the drums, its a mixing method called "sidechaining", its used to remove phasing issues with the lead (synthesizer) and the bass & snare drum. (2 waves when added together cause interference; (phasing issues)).

Personally, Haywyre isn't my favourite artist on Monstercat. To me, he was just glitch hop artist...Until I was blown away from this! Haywyre, that is how a live mix is done! I've never heard a remix of Smooth Criminal and if I hear some other remixes,'this will still remain the best. I'm blown away Hawyre, I'm speechless!

It's a good interpretation. It's practically its own song outside of the vocal samples as I couldn't really hear any of the original song in this version. The chord progression, the bassline, any of the original patches, it's completely re-written. Well done.

Completely understand that concern. Here's the reasoning behind calling the title Haywyre - Smooth Criminal. Firstly, like you said, its not even a remix. There are almost no elements from the original; hence i called it a re-interpretation; its more of an original track than a remix (not the best word choice but its all i got). Secondly, I dont think theres a single person out there that wouldnt realize I am using Michael Jackson's vocals from Smooth Criminal; its a given. Michael was a celebrity of ridiculous proportions, and his voice is unique and distinguishable. Also, I wanted to make sure the title stays simple. So yes, on some level I agree that it's rude to not include his name in the title; I find that people know that its a re-interpretation of Michael Jackson regardless. Additionally, like Karson said, it does say it in the description :)
