@@MofoMan2000that doesn’t always work. You know why Genjis dash up in the air first? Its easier to dodge incoming damage/cc and set up your slash and dash combo. If you dash into the supp, they have way more time to react to you

No you want the advanced setting on. Just set it to shoot on release so if you want to pre plan the placement you can but you can also just immediately shoot the wall too.

A mix of Doom, Genji, and Mei. I really like hazard, and I think he’s gonna be so much fun in 6v6. Feels super fair and honestly pretty kill able.

Yeah half the supp cast straight up makes him useless ana, kiri, Moira. All three make him completely useless, Ana sleep and nade cucks him, kiri can just hop out of the 1v1 if she don't 4 tap u, and Moira doesn't even need to look at you, she can ignore u and u can't even fight her 🤣 the spread is too much for that small of a target

I think his ultimate is fine but it does feel a bit to friendly towards wheather you get it off before you die or not. Knowing the balance philosophy though they will probably buff it. I think what does need buff is his slash dmg or just make it more consistent in the range. Also his wall climb feels clunky when you try and use it quickly like you are a genji. It really makes you stick yourself against the wall from what it felt like. Really fun hero though and it's nice to see blizzard getting a 3rd good hero in a row.

Hazard isnt op, hes essentially a defense oriented doom who plays with his team. Hes only as good as u can personally make him, like genji can be a wicked character, but he is hard to make useful.

Now that I think about it, Mauga probably counters Hazard. Hazard has great damage reduction on his block (Seems similar to Ram) and Mauga loves that shit. Edit: Thanks for the replies. I'm still fairly new to the game and I probably don't know what I think I know.

nah hazard actually has a pretty good matchup against mauga, unlike ram hazard has the option not to play right in front of mauga, and the dmg red is actually good when he is in front of him cause mm auga won’t he’ll as much

Have played Mauga for the last year, it's a Case by Case basis. If he's got good supports and spams his block, you're not killing Hazard. If he doesn't have good supports and he tries to go for damage, he gets melted. VERY 50/50 Matchup.

Funnily enough, Hazard feels the strongest when you're not trying to have fun. Weirdly like Orisa. Don't do anything, don't overstep, just sit safe in a corner afk, and if an enemy oversteps, just give them a light push, maybe hit em with a wall or somethin, and go back to your afk corner

Winston isn't a monkey, though. Monkeys have tails. Winston is a gorilla, which is a great ape. While gorillas can and do climb, they only spend about 7% of their day in trees, usually to harvest fruit or play around. Other apes besides humans, spend a lot more time in trees. Chimps about 50-60% of their day and orangutans almost 100%.

Obviously these are your initial reactions so I’m not putting too much stock in the opinions but after playing the character they definitely aren’t super OP. Sure you could argue he has a lot of sustain but that’s a 5v5 tanking problem in general not a hazard specific one. And frankly it doesn’t feel unfair. I rarely ever die to hazard auto lock cause you literally just back up to stop taking damage. You’re only dying or getting kills to confirm on target that were already low to begin with or alone with no peel. And unlike doom or JQ hazard doesn’t have any self sustain. So the health and armor are kinda warranted to an extent

His sustain is only as good as his backline. He doesn't have the mobility of full dive tanks, or the sustain of someone like Mauga or Hog. He is really good at punishing people who are out of position though.

Also, at least in the rest of the ranks below Sam's, Doom is actually pretty decent against him if you play to ruin Hazard's fun lol Rein is pretty good too. Winton seemingly messes his backline up better than Hazard can. Mauga can be neutral but if Hazard makes mistakes, Mauga just eats him like a quick snack. Orisa, as usual, can just delete any potential for Hazard to have fun, Sombra-style. I've heard sigma is decent against him. I'm curious how he plays against Ball. Honestly most tanks seem to have a fine time against him.

Great... another "Tank", that isn't a Tank but just a DPS with big Health Pool -.- Wonder if we will get a real tank anytime soon, that really can aid his team and isn't just another Doomfist, that just "tanks", cause he is annoying to everyone, so he get's shoot at... since... when people find out they can just avoid him and aim at Healers and DPS instead and get more value, this dude will be useless... and since he has NO self sustain besides his "I shoot homing missiles when I do the same as Ramatra (that btw isn't doing anything if he is not ulting in this moment)"... I can see the Voice- and Textchats explode for Flames, why healers aren't healing him (esp. in lower Elos)... I wish Overwatch would get back away from this "Everthing must be offensive and Dive and Rush are the only things that are good" and will get back to at least the option of kinda "Deathballing"...
