Thank you, just watched this video and have now changed my speaker, took about 10 minutes. tips for anyone else - The clips can be a bit hard to prise off, I used 2 small screw drivers and slowly went round the edge. This fixed my parking sensor beep, the indicators ticks and the welcome tone. I got my speaker from eBay for about £25

thanks for the video instructions. i experienced the same problem and took the speaker off today . but then i decided to test it outside the car. when i connected it to another audio source suprisingly the speaker worked. so now i am confused whether to buy a new one or search for other reasons of this fault. i mean speaker works with other audio output but when connected to car it simply does not work. Can it be a bad fuse on the car that controls this hazard and signal light speaker? thanks

How did you determine the speaker was bad? Did you test the signal to the speaker before you went thru the replacement?

The signal lights, Hazard lights, and door chimes stopped making sounds when in use. :)

@@AverageGuyDIY Okay. My wifes Sportage has the same issue. Just wondering if you tested the signal to the speaker before you bought the replacement. Seems like a pretty straight fwd swap out. Thanks for the video and the link to Amazon.

How did you end up prying up the cover? You were originally using a SIM card but it looks like it was edited and there was a screwdriver already under it. I will be changing out my speaker this weekend, and would like to not bust any clips or the cover.

Do it very carefully, the trick is to loosen up every edge of the plastic that you can. This job does require finesse. Just take your time and it will eventually pry open.

How did you open the speaker lid the video cut off, I’m really not trying to break anything.

Use something like a card or a flat head screw driver. It takes some wiggling to get it off.

@@faazsiddiqui2796 Yes, The plastic is a little more durable then you think. It can withstand a little bit of pressure but It’s a delicate balance.
