2:13 My Favorite Because It Will Be A Inspiration To The Upper Stage Launch Configuration For The ASA Beta-1
@Jognt
@Jognt 3 жыл бұрын
The sounds sounding heavy and massive, the editing that made it all look like a breeze, the size of the rocket, design of the rocket, how the fairing ALMOST overheated but didn't, the decoupling touch of the 10m heatshield pushing away the submarine, the wing unfurling, the tail coming out, the gliding, the releasing of wings, the submarine itself and its prop design, and the Kerbal that didn't float to the surface. I just cannot decide which part was the coolest. All of them look and sound amazing and some of them are SO close to 'the edge' that it must've taken you a LOT of effort to find that sweetspot where it all works! The literal jumping fish clip was the funniest though ;) How did you get the Kerbal to stick under the sub? I thought it would try to float up? Or do they somehow maintain their ability to walk if you clamp them between the ground and a craft?
@Hazard-ish
@Hazard-ish 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much for the kind words! A kerbal will float up unless they are in a gap as tall as they are. So by walking right under the middle of the sub, the helmet is constantly in contact with the hull and they can walk. If I had walked to the side then poor Val would have been launched upwards

This is one of the most beautiful KSP videos I've ever seen. Not only is the rocket build incredibly aesthetic, but the camera work is incredible I've tried shots like 3:20 & 6:30 before and it took me like three hours and they didn't look nearly this good 8:25 I adore this unnecessary articulation so much, not to mention the wing deployment too 10:54 The framing here is exquisite The underslung crew cabin is genius, pesky floaty kerbals

The aesthetics, the camera work, the editing, the wing reveal, the transition to 4:3 and back to 16:9, the use of moving parts. I think you really outdone yourself. That was amazing

Dude, if I could like this a dozen times I would. That glider unpack was by *far* the coolest thing I've seen done so far with the robotic parts. And the sound editing in this one is *on point*. Super nicely done!

alright... this is my new "what is KSP?" video for showing newcomers what it's all about. The craftsmanship in the ship design, the ability to go from cosmic beauty to delightfully extra (the eagle scream upon reeentry was perfectly over the top) and the sound design, just... how does someone make a course correction burn exiting and cinematic?! This is an amazing start to 2021 and you should be rightly proud.

8:25 = literally the most epic thing I have ever seen in KSP history (aside from the Vallhenge, that is)
