I've been wondering about that, honestly. We don't know what the conditions for getting to Heaven are, but I think the Cherubs in Helluva Boss make it seem like humans have until the moment they die to make up for their sins and earn a spot in Heaven, so it's really anyone's guess where either Cain or Abel ended up (if they even exist in this universe). Cain was the first murderer, but he lived a long life after that. All we know about Abel is that he was generous with his offerings to God.

Some people cope by (over)engaging with the thing that traumatized them in the first place. Case in point; Angel Dust is a victim of s*xual assault and abuse, and his main coping mechanism, besides drugs, is to self-degrade and s*xualise himself and practically throw himself at anything with a dick. Hypers*xuality is a common behavior for sa victims in real life. Granted, murder is a different thing entirely. But the purging of sinners specifically could be a way for Adam to get a sort of revenge for Abel's murder. ​​@@wolfsbanealphas617Actually, I think the whole forbidden fruit of knowledge that comes with free will thing means that once you acquire the knowledge and you begin to understand the world and the truth is you can do much more than what they allow you to do. That is, humans only did what the angels allowed them to but this was not (at all) entirely good, safe and beneficial for them, and Lucifer upon seeing this decided to break the pattern and mark their freedom, humanity now being able to decide for themselves what they wanted and what was best for them, since that was the only job of the angels and they failed (that is, if all the lovers of a man had to flee from him at the first opportunity definitely something dark happens with that man).

If you consider it, Lucifer and Lilith indirectly murdered his two sons when evil corrupted Cain to murder Abel. This might have been traumatic for Adam considering he was banished from the Garden of Eden due to Eve eating the fruit, forcing him to live in the desert wilderness for the rest of his mortal life.
