Big ol’ lore explanation for you guys: Sinners aren’t the only inhabitants in hell, there are imps, hellhounds, incubus’s and succubus’s, etc. Sinners can’t interact with other inhabitants of hell though, since they aren’t allowed to leave the pride ring in hell. Though creatures born in hell can enter and exit the pride ring at will, that’s why the Helluva Boss characters work in the pride ring. Overlords are just really strong sinners but they don’t stack up to the Seven Deadly Sins or Lucifer in terms of power.

If she’s nimble and menacing enough for his standards, it’s no surprise Valentino couldn’t keep tabs on her. They probably had nothing to actually worry about with her, but it’s still really sweet that Angel/Anthony stood up for her and himself against Valentino. Husk and Charlie really made an impact on him.

I absolutely love how they depicted Lucifer. Charlie and Lucifer's song absolutely blew me away with how much the voice actors embody these roles. They passionately put their heart and soul into said songs and vocals. I absolutely love how they depicted Lucifer as a caring and loving father who, albeit he has trouble connecting to his daughter and is a bit of an anti-social goofball, still loves Charlie no matter what and wants to believe in her vision. Still, he sees himself in her and doesn't want her crushed under Heaven's laws/ruthlessness. But despite how scared he is and how much of a failure he feels like, his daughter brings out his hope once again and sees his dream live on through her vision to redeem sinners, so of course, he'd be willing to do anything he can to support her and try and convince Heaven sinners can be redeemed. Jeremy Jordan and Erika Henningson both did a phenomenal job in this episode. I also love how Alastor is the ultimate troll in this show as he already SAVAGELY roasted Vox, and the fact he has the guts to roast Lucifer in front of his own daughter (who seemingly goes along with it) indeed shows how little f***s Alastor gives. I also love that Alastor hasn't sworn this entire time in the show or in the pilot, yet he saved his first F-bomb and said it directly to the King of Hell, Lucifer, himself, he is just a complete legend! I also love seeing Angel in Episode 6 actually stand up to Valentino, even if it will cost him; Husk truly made Angel feel better about himself again, and he's slowly started to change as I Iiked seeing him grow close to the others like Nifty and Husk and even call them his friends. I do wonder who Alastor is under the control of. A lot of people, including myself, have theorised that Alastor is taking orders from Lilith (Charlie's mom), who may have sent Alastor to act as a guardian to protect Charlie and keep her dream alive; after all, both Alastor and Lilith are said to have been seen in 7 years. Yet, Alastor suddenly shows up out of nowhere to help, which seems way too coincidental.

14:53 I talked to my friend about this “reveal” late last night, (I put reveal in quotes, because with her primarily monochrome color palette compared to the rest of the cast, I always believed Vaggie was “an Angel in disguise”). I told them that it bugged me-despite Vaggie being so adept with a spear-why was her hair so long? It’s a small thing, but I say this because usually people in the military or similar positions need to have as short hair as possible, or at least out of the way of their eyes right? But I think Vaggie grew out her hair, because it’s a coping mechanism to still feel comfortable like when she still had her angel wings. Her hair seems to be almost as long as them too. Also explains why she liked going up to the ship near the top of the Hotel. She probably misses flying, so being able to go up there is the best substitute. 🥺

"Take that depression!" I felt that in my soul. Alastor's curse and then jumping in the song and calling himself her Dad both made me near spit take lmao. Also, Mimzy appearing during the song is totally "it ends when the fat lady sings" pun. How to break up the fight before it got physical, send in Mimzy. I have been rocking the songs in my car all day. I sort of love both songs in different ways and can't decide which is better. The battle song cracked me up and I jam it so hard! The ballad spoke to my heart and soul and I cried hard watching it the first time. Poor Husk shaking like a terrified cat had me wanting to hug him so bad. SO THEORY TIME FROM ME! I suspect Alastor did make a deal with Lilith 7 years ago, but have more to back it. Something tells me he was saved by Lilith, maybe from "holy arms". And doing so he willingly entered a contract out of a loyalty debt. He bonded with her like he did with Mimzy so he does have a bigger hatred for Lucifer then just a pride thing. Its funny though that the first time he curses its towards the king of Hell. Got to add on for Lucifer though. His comment about depression and certain idiosyncrasies make me suspect he suffers from deep depression. So much so he unwittingly pushed away his loved ones. I can first hand attest to how depression can ruin relationships of all kinds, I am clinically depressed myself. Self destruction, loss of all hope, spiraling, etc. I suspect Lilith left with Charlie because she could not handle raising Charlie with Lucifer so broken. Whether or not Lilith turned Charlie away from Lucifer, willingly or by accident, I suspect it probably helped estranged the two. The thing is, deep down Lucifer is still in love with Lilith, he still wears his wedding ring you can see it. He was just drowning in the deep fog of depression. During the "More then Anything" song we see a flashback to angels with spears all pointed at him, then he looks at Charlie and see's her surrounded by the spears. He fears above all else losing her to the angels. Now for ep 6, I was also filled with anxiety the whole time! I suspect there is a conspiracy going on in Heaven. They don't really know how a soul gets into Heaven? Just they're winners and sinners go to Hell? Sera looked demonic with the flames in her eyes. Something seems really off. I really hope Vaggie and Charlie dont break, but I love how the theory was proven true she is an ex-angel. So you know a season 2 was confirmed to be in the process so season 1 will end but it wont be the end. Not with how much its been pulling in Amazon Prime, they'll not drop it.

Charlie is a Hellborn, like Imps/Hellhounds/Succubi etc. And we know from ep1 that Lucifer negotiated so that the Exorcists only comes down for Sinners, not the Hellborn, so they are not allowed to attack Charlie. Charlie also mentions being born in Hell in the pilot. Cherry Bomb is also from the pilot. EDIT: I only just now remembered the episode from Helluva Boss involving the Cherubs! They ran a service where souls in Heaven could send loved ones special blessings to protect them and basically take them to Heaven, *regardless* of who they were. People wanted the inventor (whose name escapes me) to come to Heaven as thanks, even though it was revealed in the end that he went to Hell because he experimented on people. But if the Cherubs had won he would've been in Heaven despite that he would naturally be down in Hell. Makes you wonder and question now that we know what we know from Ep 6.

@@tobsonasanya4765 I've said this else where so Imma just copy and paste: For Carmilla, we don't get the proper build up to care about her or her daughters since we only JUST met her. I feel like Episode 3 could have been split into two episodes, with the whole "getting the Hotel residents to trust each other" to be made first, and the whole Overlord-angel stuff take place in another one. Perhaps the "trust" episode could have one of Carmilla's daughter accidentally wind up in the Hell fight zone that the Hotel group are in and she gets caught by a Sinner who wants to use her to spite Carmilla in some way, and its up Husk, Angel, Nifty & Sir Pentious to save her and get her home safe: Allowing us to SEE the comrade the group gains instead of being told it, and see Carmilla overjoyed that her daughter is safe; thus setting up the fact that she cares about her daughters deeply.

Personally, because of the line about there being a rumor that Alastor took up 'holy arms' going around and him getting evasive, I think that Alastor bound himself (perhaps accidentally) to an angel, be that Sera, Adam, or someone we haven't seen yet.

Thing is regarding heaven's stance, I believe falls in line with what Lucifer (Hazbin's Lucifer not gonna argue with religion over this) did. A pleasant little detail that I liked that regardless of being the ruler of hell, he is still a true blue angel. Just forever stuck there now. Lucifer now has always been the same as before being a goofball who thiught that by giving free will good things will come from humanity that would spreaf across creation. Of course this didnt exactly happen. Lilith though is different, she was the first sinner and used her influence to give power to demons. Demons left unchecked, means earth might be doomed and any semblance of peace and order is just crushed with both sides destroying themselves and all creation with it. Adam is an asshole, because while he may been that way since he was created, considering how he lost Lilith to Lucifer. Then those two got Eve to sin and lost his home. Yeah Adam has and feels justified to despise every demon and take enjoyment out of it. So yeah, they are stuck in a perpetual cycle to keep this equilibrium. But, if Charlie can do it, and the tops above Sera at heaven decrees it so, then that means it is possible. Thing is, considering the song Lucifer had in the flashback. It might be possible Lilith doesnt want that. Heck, she might even be opposed to it. We will definitely have to wait and see.
