I definitely feel you. I don't really feel like doing my hair much lately. I've simplified my routine and love it. Wash, deep condition, and style my hair with 6 flat twists. Usually, I leave the twists in for two or three days before I take them out. Gone are the days of doing a bunch of steps with my hair.

I like both results before fluffing & after also like the result of 6 flat twist out. I notice with the 6 flat twist out tight & more definition.😀

I tried the four twist twist out. My hair is a little shorter and I ended up with eight chunky twist instead, sat under the dryer for an hour and went to sleep. Woke up to unravel them and they were still wet on the inside. I manipulated until it was just a large puff. I was so upset 😂 I’m thinking maybe I need to use different products and maybe the thickness of my freakin hair. I was so mad they were still wet 😭

Definitely the thickness. I can set under the dryer for an hour my hair won’t be dry i still have to give it 8 hrs till i take it out. How long did you give it to dry after sitting under the dryer

Yeah it’s definitely just the thickness of hair. I have super dense fine strands that are medium porosity. And even tho I sit under my hooded dryer for an hour I still have to wait a full day for my hair to dry. If I’m styling on wet hair. If you wanna speed up the drying time you could style it on stretched damp or dry hair. But I usually just style on wet hair because my wet sets last longer. I just accept the drying time and schedule my week around it

@@zacharydrake156 yesssss! the thickness is always my issue! I knew good and well not to rush with that drying process even with me sitting under the dryer. I thought I’d be okay cause I went to sleep with them in though. Honestly, it was my mistake in rushing with the drying. I was over it when I went to bed 😂😭😩

If you used a cream, try using a mousse. The hair dries faster with mousse
