I tried your method (but with a pinch of sweetener and no vanilla). The result was perfect for coffee, super thick and creamy. Thank you very much for sharing!

I would love to make a butter pecan creamer! I'm assuming I would use the same technique for almonds? But don't know what to do with the butter!....LOL
@HolisticLongevity
@HolisticLongevity 4 жыл бұрын
Yes absolutely, you can use the same technique with almonds. I suppose if you are making it “bulletproof style” then you can just add some butter into your coffee :)

Hello there, Thanks for the video. I wonder what do you do with the crushed hazelnut after straining?

Saudi Jack hi, there! Very good question, i actually add them into my oats in the morning for extra fiber but you can dehydrate them and create hazelnut flour. Hope this helps :)

When you say 1 cup hazelnuts are you referring to 1 cup dry? ...or 1 cup after they are soaked? (assuming they swell during the soak) I want to try this! :-)
@HolisticLongevity
@HolisticLongevity 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Doina :) I am talking about 1 cup of dry, but yes they will swell a little bit. This one is so tasty but finding good hazelnuts that aren't too old is a challenge. Hope you try it soon :)

Hi! I just left a review on your other video with the 3 vegan creamers, and I just happened to come across this one. I have tried hazelnut milk and it's so good - I will definitely try this recipe. A couple of questions - have you ever tried using coconut water instead of the plain water to make the creamer? I saw another gal say that her secret ingredient to making nut milk is adding the coconut water, instead of the plain water...I'm wondering if this would work for a creamer or if it woudn't taste good since you are drinking it with coffee. Next question - any idea if macadamia nut creamer would taste good? And, last question - do you have any recommendations for where you can purchase nuts in bulk at a good price? Thank you!!
@HolisticLongevity
@HolisticLongevity 7 ай бұрын
Hi again, i saw few more comments from you that i missed :( first of all - the creamer! I would not recommend using coconut water as a base, the reason why is because it has quite a bit of flavor and it also has naturally occurring sodium, which makes it slightly salty. I don't want the creamer to be salty so its a no for me. I think macadamia nuts would be fabulous for creamer, they are naturally fatty and would make a great thick creamer. Lastly, i recommend buying nuts at costco! They have very fresh and plenty of organic choices, their circulation is super high so i highly recommend them when you are looking for quality and freshness. I hope this helps, sorry it was so late :(

what can be used to sweeten hazelnut creamer? Something natural
@HolisticLongevity
@HolisticLongevity 2 жыл бұрын
I really like maple syrup, its natural and has half the glycemic load compared to sugar. You can also use date sugar or just blend a few dates in with the hazelnuts and strain. Hope you like it :)

@@HolisticLongevity Yes! I don't know why videos use background music when someone is speaking! a) hearing impaired cannot make out what you're saying b) music one person loves is like nails on a chalkboard to others. Why limit your base?

Hello. Where did you purchase your raw hazelnuts from?
@HolisticLongevity
@HolisticLongevity 2 жыл бұрын
H there! I find it to be very difficult to find shop for raw hazelnuts (fresh ones anyway). They always taste old unfortunately.. These came from the company my husband works for, called Happy Village Organic but I'm afraid its not available in the US for sale :( i heard good things about nuts.com, you might wanna give it a try 🙏🏻

Purchased & soaked the hazelnuts, made the cream! Forgot to buy vanilla bean, so I used a drop or 2 of vanilla essential oil (from Young Living). Looking forward to adding to my coffee in the morning! Thank you!! (the childish voice music was annoying. Had to turn it off to watch video as it got on my nerves : (
