Scripts = Macro!? I can't tell if everyone is retarded or i am. In terms of computing - Script definition: an automated series of instructions carried out in a specific order. Macro: a single instruction that expands automatically into a set of instructions carried out in a specific order. That means the only difference is that a macro has to be instantiated by a single instruction which would probably be a key press to activate it. They both still a series/set of instructions to perform a task in this case to necessary inputs to achieve bhopping regardless of how they are started or created.

Former cheater here. The guy on Ruby was 100% aimhacking. There are some cheaper aimbots out there that have a hard time differentiating the torso hitbox from the head; producing abnormal AWP headshot rates even when aiming at the torso. I don't know how so many people see a player flick headshot with an AWP 10 times in a row and think he's legit. He couldn't be more blatant. EDIT: You can see the same with the Mirage cheater. Nobody tries to flick to the head while AWPing. So stupid

Tucker, a friendly reminder that bhopping and strafing are two separate things. A person can have bhop scripts, allowing them to hit every jump perfectly, but not be able to strafe correctly and thus not gain any speed. The guy on Ruby is a perfect example of this.

There are types of mouses which can unlock the scroll whell and make it spen for a full minute if u flick it hard enough. Which means you are not using external software.

On the subject of the guy on ruby, i know lots of people bind their scroll wheel to jump so they can hit hops easier. More inputs means a better chance of one syncing up

Not necessarily the case as someone who scroll wheel hops myself you still have to scroll the wheel around the time you hit the ground. While more inputs does help when you spam the scroll wheel a csgo server has the tendency to drop an input or have that input relay 1 frame late which would kill the bhop. This is how you can tell someone is using autohop, to circumvent the server dropping an input they'll use a macro that spams jump tons of times per second and match the delay to around the servers delay so it wouldn't drop the input.

Technique. A bhop script would automatically make any jump accelerate as if it were a bhop, you'd know how it would work if you've ever used autobunnyhop in a private server. When someone is legitimately good at bhopping, they will be strafing in air; as seen in the Ruby clip here, the hacker jumps straight forward with no counterstrafing, if you watch someone like Phoon, they still have air strafing even at the most advanced level of hopping. Also being completely aware of the gameplay while bhopping instead of concentrating on the hopping should be nearly impossible. There's a lot more nuance that I could get into, but it's all stuff you'd learn from practicing bhopping on your own.

good bhoppers know how to strafe. They will strafe 4-6 times in one jump. They will never hit that many hops in a row because its just not possible in vanilla settings. People who use scripts or macros mostly dont know how to strafe properly because its a hard skill to master and not nessesary if you are hacking. The difference between macros and actual scripts (hacks) is that macros mostly dont work as well as scripts. Scripts will give you a perfect hop everytime. If you wanna see some really good bhops watch some KZ tournaments. They have the best movement in the game and mastered strafeing almost perfectly.

Bunnyhop in cheats doesn't automatically make you go fast. There is another function to bunnyhop called autostrafe, that's what gives you velocity (speed), so someone constantly jumping is still using bunnyhop, either a) autostrafe isn't enabled or b) their movement sucks.

For most bunnyhopping (legit), the jump is bound to the scroll wheel to make sure you jump right when you land to preserve momentum. I land maybe 1 hop in an actual server before my speed goes awol

Macros/scripts don't relate to your speed, they just relate to your perf rate (how often you hit perfectly timed hops). Macros spam about 20-26 jump inputs every jump so that one of them has a good chance of hitting a perf. If a person has macros, sometimes they'll miss hops, although I don't think the guy on Ruby had macros, I just think he wasn't strafing and therefore wasn't gaining speed. Hitting hops doesn't get you speed (unless you go downhill), it just maintains your speed. It's the strafing that gets you speed. If a person has scripts, it usually does 1-2 jump inputs, but it is made to do the input at the perfect time, resulting in 100% perf rate. If you're wondering how I know this, I'm an admin on a server that doesn't have an auto-ban anti-cheat, so we are the anti-cheat and we have a plugin to see players inputs and speed and other variables. Edit: Idk for sure what valve determines as bhop cheats, but both scripts and macros should be considered cheats. They completely remove the timing aspect of bhopping, taking all of the skill out of it.

Yes, there is a cheat option for hitting every shot while running. Nospread. It's also a console command if you want to try it you can also hit jumping shots with it: weapon_accuracy_nospread 1
