Fables and stories of the long past are exaggerated. Parting of the sea could be a natural phenomenon in some small gulf where the sea gets receded during low tide in night. They must have crossed a few kms in sandy land when sea was low. After few hours when their enemies may be crossing, the high tide would have come. Seeing a map of continents does show few names matching but at huma scale these are huge huge geography. Even now in coastal sides there are small small islands which get isolated in high tide and become accesdible on foot in low tide. So it was not at all a miracle but a routine nature.

Ghalib has less than half baked knowledge of the Quran, OT and NT. His claim about Quran a plagiarism of OT and NT shows that he is ignorant about all the three books.He believes in Prof. Wansbrough ( Of Oriental College of London and his two chailas, Michael Cook and Patricia Crone ), who came up with this crazy idea that Quran was THE PRODUCT OF Ummayad period and had nothing to do with Muhammad ( pbuh )!! He coined the crazy term " Hagarism " in place of Islam. All these Quixotic claims were put to rest by the discovery of the Birmingham manuscripts in 2015 which were Carbon dated to roughly the mid 7 th century, confirming the Islamic scholars claim that the Glorious Quran was put together in book form around 650 AD by Caliph Usman. Here are some major differences between Quran and the OT and NT: !. Other than the name of Adam ( pbuh ), there is nothing common between these books in the Creation story. There is no mention of 7 days ( with morning and evenings ) of Creation in the Glorious Quran. There is no mention of creation of earth, vegetations and animals before the creation of the sun in the Quran. Whereas the bible says that sea animals came out of sea and land animals came out of land, Quran declares that EVERY LIVING ANIMAL was created in the sea ( Q 21:30 ). 2. Whereas OT makes sons of Jacob ( pbuh ) travel the vast Sinai desert by Asses ( !! ), The Glorious Quran shows ( Q 12:72) that they travelled by camels. 3. Whereas Bible says that the Egyptian ruler who dealt with Joseph was one of the Pharaohs, the glorious addresses that king as "The King, ( Malik in Arabic ) ) every time it is mentioned in the story of Joseph ( pbuh). Modern historians confirm Quranic narrative. That king belonged to Hyksos ( shepherd in old Egyptian language ) dynasty which ruled Egypt at that time. They were NOT THE PHARAOHS. Quran wins again. 4.. in the chapter of Numbers, the Torah / OT, gives the figure of fighting age men ( 15-60 years ) to be over 500,000 adding at least same number of women -plus 2 children each, the total number goes up to 2000,000 at lest. To increase from 70 ( the number given by the Bible again ) to this fantastic figure in 215 years, each Hebrew mother had to give birth to 60 children!!! No where the Glorious Quran mentions these figures Ghalib. 5. Whereas the OT / Torah says that the Pharaoh pursuing Moses ( pbuh ) was drowned and does not talk about his body, the Glorious Quran said that his body will be preserved for future generations. Both Ramses / Mertepnah bodys were discovered ( mummified ) in the Valley of Kings in 1897 and can be seen in Egyptian Museaum in Cairo. There are lots of other differences. Seekers of truth should look these facts up in the OT and the Glorious Quran to make an informed decision. Ghalib is ignorant of facts and giving his opinions based upon discounted theories of Wansbrough et al. .
