HB Racing E819RS build series Part 11....Electronics!!!

I use the hobbywing xr8 sct also great esc for racing! I use Flux on the wires when I tin them, I noticed you didn't use any. I like that it helps draw the solder in and makes it one solid joint... But, I learned a hard lesson doing this. I didnt wipe the excess Flux off the wires one time, and soldered it to the motor. Can you guess what happened??? I'll tell ya, when the motor heated up, the Flux stared to melt down Into the motor windings, ( surpass 1/8 motors have a open slit beneath the 3 soldertabs ) and caused one of the windings to break. Now the motor can is useless, less I wanna rewind it, but that is over my head. Cool video Bro! Thanks for sharing! 👍

No problem. I've been soldering without flux for years in the automotive industry. I don't think it's necessary.

When you disable battery cutoff does it mess with your battery’s are u running high voltage battery’s

Yes. I run hv batteries. It doesn't mess with them as long as you don't run them down too far. It's gotta be setup right.
