I just received mine today, and the fockin 💩 ain't fitting correctly. The cuts don't match the factory end cap. You would have to trime some of the edges and then use a mallets to tap it in. Looks good, but fitting ain't matching the factory. This is on an SP9A3.

I hit mine with a mallet for 10 minutes after inserting it into my Stribog and it wouldn’t move. Followed instructions exactly. Am I missing something?

Is there a specific adapter required for the SP9A1 Gen 2??? I just received my Stribog with the SB Tactical Folding brace and can't get it on! It doesn't fit!

There are a number of different receiver adapters out there for the Stribog, ours are guaranteed to fit (polymer variants might be very snug in the receiver, per the video, but they will fit). Any suggestions on tightening up a slight wobble between the adapter and receiver, and the brace to bracket (i tightened the bolt down as much as possible)? I was figuring jb weld and strips of shim stock, and wrapping shim around the bolt.

Did you install our adapter? Or one from another company? If your adapter says "HBI USA" on the back of it, there should be no looseness between the receiver and the adapter. Sometimes there can be a very small amount of play in the hinges of stock and braces, but only to allow them to fold/deploy smoothly. If you are experimenting any issues with fitment and the product has our name on it please let us know and we will work with you directly to determine root cause of the issue and make it right.

I installed a nylon one today and it was TIGHT. I like the fact it doesn't wobble. But man I had to whack it pretty good with my rubber mallet. I'm a little scared to see what the adapter looks like next time I disassemble my gun for cleaning.

How hard can you hit it without breaking it? Is there another way to get the receiver/stock holes to align better so that the pin can be pushed back into place after the install?

As a follow up to this. I’ve since shot around 300 rounds through it 2 separate occasions. The pin is still tight but with a punch it pops in and out easier now. I’m very happy with the 2nd gen.

Maybe a dumb question but if the brace and stick both take the same adapter can I just buy the stock and use the same adapter or are they not something that comes apart?

Yes, brace and stock both use the same adapter. They are assembled with a single screw, it is straightforward to transition between either stock or brace using our adapter.

what will the overall length be for the stribog with a Zhukov-S folding stock fully extended?

Our zhukov stock adds 11.5" fully extended from the rear most surface of the receiver. There are several models of stribog with different barrel lengths, but for example if you were to install our Zhukov stock onto the base model (8" barrel) which measures approximately 14.5" between muzzle and rear of receiver, then the total overall length with our Zhukov stock installed and fully extended would be 26". Note this length is taken from the muzzle of the barrel, a muzzle device could be added to increase overall length if needed. There are also aftermarket pads available for the Zhukov stock with increases its overall length.

The SB Tactical SBT brace feels like it was designed specifically for the Stribog, and at the time of this comment the SBT brace is probably one of the best options out there (but it is arguably also the most popular and common, for good reason). There are other 1913 brace options, like the SB Tactical TF1913 and SF1913. Alternatively there are several Gear Head Works Tail Hook adapters and configurations available as well. Lots to choose from :-)

Between the Zhukov and ACR stocks with brace adapters which would you recommend on the Stribog for use with a red-dot optic?

That is REALLY tough; hard to answer because so much depends on personal preferences. I would say the primary difference between ACR and Zhukov is the "comb height" or "cheek weld". The ACR generally requires a "high" riser for the optic, the higher the better. The Zhukov generally gets away with low/mid 1.5" AR type risers. We design all of our Zhukov adapters to put the stock as low as possible so that the operator can float their head around the stock. ACR stock normally makes contact with face/cheek when using an optic. Neither is right/wrong, again its really personal preference.
