These are some of the best Designer tutorials out there. Your explanations are fantastic and it's not the most complicated graphs. Please make more!

Can i use a texture map like this in older versions of blender like 2.79 or 2.8?

Sure, they're just basic maps (albedo/normal/roughness and displacement)

Great tutorial, although the background music bit distractive

20:37 Can you tell the name of the plugin?

I guess you are referring to the official Adobe plugin for Blender. I think you can find it on their website (if it's still a thing, actually I don't use it)

This is so extremely fast I've rewinded the first 10 seconds about 20 times now trying to see what you did... update: For some reason my version of Designer will not blend into the Tile Random node. Nothing affects this node whatsoever and I have no idea why I'm stopped dead in my tracks :/ Update Update: Nevermind, I missed the bit where I had to change the Tile Random pattern type to pattern input :( Finally: The information presented here is extremely valuable. I think you really really need to slow down your video. Having to keep pausing and going back to double check things when you move to quick is difficult because 1 or 2 frames is all it takes for me to miss mouse clicks and things. I slowed down the youtube video but then it makes your voice quite grating and difficult to listen to. This video would have been so much nicer to follow along to if it were around the 30-40 minute mark. I understand some parts you quickly skip over such as the 'get integer' part since it's repetitive but the other stuff is easy to miss and quite important. I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out why my blend node wasn't affecting the Tile Random node only to discover I needed to change the pattern type when I've never used it before so I didn't know. Your title says this is a beginners video but this is not easy to follow and I'm a veteran when it comes to blender, painter, unreal engine and zbrush.

I agree this tutorial is no way beginner friendly I'm watching it on slowest speed and no clue what I'm doing, I think he should change the title tbh. I've not found any other tutorials that are very helpful for my style of learning either but I've gotta learn this program for uni so really frustrating!

Please don't fast forward tutorial videos and just do voiceover commentary during live recordings. It's really hard to follow the workflow and thought process when you only have one comment over like 15 seconds of fast-forwarded audio. It's a great tutorial, but really hard to follow if you don't already know how to use SD
