All these dudes trained so hard for their fights vs. Floyd but couldn't get it done. Floyd trained harder than them because he had tunnel vision to stay on top, with a supreme level of calmness, focus, and relaxation in the ring. Not to mention skills. I have my issues with him both personally and his career, but there's no denying he's one of the best to do it. Once he figured you out, he'd pretty much pitch a shutout. I remember him throwing those wide right hands to smash Cotto's head around his guard. Or how after losing early rounds vs Judah and Mosely, he took them apart. Or how he absolutely humiliated Canelo. Good stuff.

@@Unan1m0us I can't say he directly motivated me. I'm nobody special, and while I'm modestly successful I've never been super disciplined. So, I can only appreciate and admire a guy like Floyd who worked HARD to get where he got with insane discipline. So many people say, "oh, it's ridiculous he made $50-$100M in 36 mins of a fight" not realizing he toiled away since he was a little kid, I. the amateurs making zero money, in dingy ghetto gyms, and spent thousands of hours perfecting his craft.

Maybe. But it's really hard to keep training and there's also concerns for over training.... probably what happened to Pac for their fight.
