I loved this episode. It really had fun with the established mechanics of the world and was perfectly executed. D&D and Drogon's cameo was absolutely awesome. The show has such an entertaining pitch but it didn't exactly make use of it in the previous seasons. I'm glad that season 3 has more levity and feels more natural. Story really benefits from that.

3:40 Issue is if you are inside a simulation you are not a user looking at the system running slow, you are inside the simulation and would have no idea how fast or slow it is running. The same idea has been executed in this episode when they looked through security cameras into the real world and saw everything in slow motion because the simulation ran at a faster speed than realtime. But that did not effect the people inside the simulation. For them everything was normal. Therefore, the depiction of how a simulation would actually work wasnt shown here. A real simulation you could speed up, slow down, pause, save and load without the simulated entities knowing about any of that.

Now two parks remains as a mystery, well, the Westeros-type part could be the 4th park. I still don't know what happened, but it was interesting and a good build up for Meave. There is actually only 1 park remaining a mystery. 5 have been revealed so far. Westworld, Shogun World, The Raj, War World and Medieval World. We saw medieval world through Bernards point of view and he wasn’t in a simulation so we know that’s real and also war world is likely real since it makes sense they would base the simulation off an actual park. Roman world and future world were both a part of the original movies so maybe one of those is the 6th park

This is such an incredible show, it's like playing those mind games to keep your brain active. Is what we're seeing the latest timeline? is this a simulation or reality? Could what we're seeing, everything up to this point, be a simulation? Some of the GoT stuff felt a bit excessive...like we got it lol, we understand what it was. I enjoyed the episode , the virtual reality stuff was cool. How strange it was when she realized the world was completely fake. It was creepy. And the soundtrack really helped with that tone. But things did seem to move fast and some of the dialogue/interactions between Bernard and Stubbs was strange. But Maeve using that superior, godlike intellect to access a robot and run with his pearl...badass and a bit sad in a way.

1. Now that was a great episode! Their last episode of the same caliber was the season 1 finale. 2. Lee “Penis Man” Sizemore is baaaaaack. I actually forgot his character name but never forgot his junk :) Thank you Mr. Sizemore for sharing your d*ck back in season 2 (it really was ‘sizemore’ wink wink) unlike Teddy who was not so generous with his. 3. The cinematography is just wow. It truly is breathtaking. We are on week 2 of covid lockdown quarantine here in the Philippines (Asia) so seeing these picturesque sceneries of War World are also therapeutic 4. Maeve is an obvious favorite of the writers. She gets the best bits of stories kinda like Hermione from HP. Well, it effing works in this EP. 5. I wish the vibrant writing can be shared to Dolores. She was my fave back in season 1 but ever since the Wyatt fusion, her character has been monotonous and unidimensional. Villains with more variant personalities are more engaging. Ben Linus from Lost first comes to mind. 6. In the end of the season 3 premiere, Bernard was revealed to be in Palawan, Philippines but despite being Filipino myself, I did not understand the language of the boatman. If I were to connect that to this episode, was the boatman speaking in Mandarin? Is he Chinese or Filipino? The boatman was able to travel from Palawan, Philippines to the South China Sea without a fuss from the Chinese coastguard. So is the Philippines a province of China in the fictional futuristic universe of Westworld? We cannot even keep our sovereignty even in an HBO show? Yeah, it is that triggering for us Filipinos. China has been clamoring ownership of West Philippines Sea/ South China Sea which actually encroaches neighboring countries’ territories. Lisa Joy should know because as she likes to shoehorn in almost every conversation, she went to law school and the arbitration case between Philippines and China is a staple in International Law. Notwithstanding my gripe in no. 6, it was really a strong episode. I hope the remaining Eps will also be good.

I couldnt careless about the Game of Thrones egg, not bc it wasn’t great but because my queen Maeves was killing it in this episode. she was Ricking the shit out of that simulation. Maeves, as always, was the realest. her line commenting on the stupidity and laziness of human was awesome and totally resembles what Rick would say. also Thandie was amazing sorry if i offend anyone by comparing westworld and rick and morty but imo they’re both great sci fi haha
