Chiefs defense mostly never stop a running play at or near the line of scrimmage. The Chiefs pass defense seemingly is mostly zone, where the DBs and CBs stand there and after the WR or TE catches the ball then the Chiefs react, too late. Result is the opponent team marches down the field . This is what I see all game long. I also think the Chiefs need some new plays on the offense, Cinncy seems to know before it happens.

You mentioned what happens when you pressure Kirk Cousins. Cousins actually has a better completion percentage against the blitz than Mahomes or Allen. Getting pressure with four will be key

Listening to some commentary from offensive lineman.. not all of them LOVE chip help.. sometimes it can mess with certain parts of their game!! So I think from the fan perspective we were upset about Kingsley not getting much help, but perhaps chip helps could have made it worse for him 🤷🏾‍♂️ he’s still learning

For everyone who loved the way Tyrann Mathieu played for The Kansas City Chiefs, they walked away because after he got flagged and I think a fined for whatever happened with TOM BRADY he said it effected how he played. He didn't want penalized for doing exactly what Tom Brady was doing the way I remember it, just look at how much of a monster he was his second to last year here vs his last year. It tells all you need to know.

Out of over 5000 career passes (through the 2023 season) and 66 career INTs, Patrick Mahomes has had only 16 INTs 'called back' on penalties (or 24%). Half of them (8) came on Defensive Offsides (aka free plays). 5 came on DPI or defensive holding. 1 came on a roughing the passer call. When you take out the 'free plays', His 8 out of 66 INTs called back on penalties is a meager 13.6%. For comparison, Joe Burrow (2500 career passes and 37 INTs) has had 9 INTs called back on penalties (also 24%): Only 2 on free plays and 6 on DPI or def holding. If you take out his 2 free play INTs, his 'call back rate' is 18.9%. Just sayin'
