Nice improvement! I think you are the first one to run taller gearing on KZbin! What were the specs on the slower LIPO you were running? Every tooth down in the spur should allow for a tooth up on the pinion! That would be awesome if a smaller spur fits. I really want to get mine to 70 mph but I need another several mph to get there and gearing is the way to do it!

I'm working on it bud, I think we have it figured out and I'll email you about it. The week battery was an old ovonic 35c 2000mah. The fastest pass was made with the Zee performance battery 120c 2200mah shorty pack.

@@RCrepairAndBuilds Ah, yeah... probably a dog lol! Do you have a larger 3s you can tape onto the car? I have some pretty hot 3s LIPOs and I have a really fast 5,000 mAh that I used to get my HBX 2997A up to 54.9 mph all stock except for the tires and transmitter/receiver. I bet with a quicker LIPO you would pick up another mph or so... maybe 2+. I have a CNHL 2,200 that tested really good in my Bandit last weekend and I hope to run it in the HBX this weekend now that I have it back together. Hoping for at least 54 with the 2,200 CNHL and I am going to try to crack 55 with the big LIPO the next time out! Then back to the stock tires for a run or two... and then I am putting some GRPs on it (I don't like running my foams as it crashes way too much and they get torn up).
