First ever attempt and kill for me. Killed 18.07.2024, around 18h30.
I would like to thank my dad for leaving to get milk when i was 11.

Amazing work! If I may ask, did you level as a totem build all the way through?

Yes. I went with thorn totem up until i got my ascendency and then went for storm totem. I'm not the most efficient at doing the campaign tho.

@@bestmilioplat754 something i am trying figure out. does attunement have any value in totem builds or cast speed totem+raw damage totem strictly only good option?

Attunement scales your build in many ways. Avatar of thunder node in the shaman passive tree gives your totem lightning pen which is big. Elemental shines gives you mana regen which is good QoL. And most importantly (at least to me in HC) attunement gives you more armor and endurence threshold per stack of primal bulwark on the upheaval tree. Depends on the build your running but for the normal version of storm totem with this setup I think it's very good. I'd still have preferred totem cast speed + flat spell dmg on chest but I gave up on getting it on this base. Attunement and vitality were both very good affixes to get as exalted too so I settled with that. Other than on chest and helmet I think you should get attunement everywhere you can pretty much. Attack speed on gloves feels good also, for upheaval cast time. And on helmet the most optimized setup of suffixes I found for my build was totem cast speed, flat spell dmg for totem and sealed +1 to storm totem, t1 to t4 doesn't matter, since after this the only nodes left are QoL nodes and I'd rather get better dmg.

@@bestmilioplat754 i was thinking of making a build that runs attunement instead of flat damage but then runs tempest strike with gladiator lagon node with cleaver solution which convert your strength into int and int = critical chance. it gives you 8x20 = 160 flat damage for totems. Instead of building raw damage on chest piece and helmet. the thing is, it makes lose 80% damage upheaval node for said totems, so even though ur base damage on totems is way up, it might not matter because your minion modifiers are way down not to mention restricted melee radius.

@@dodang_9147 If you play soft core you can Def play it. I tried many setups, with crows, eterras blessing, without thorn totems etc and with tempest, but the main problem of tempest was it's very short range and lack of defensiveness compared to upheaval. Since I'm hc I settled on upheaval for some range + tankiness with bulwark

Wait lmao. I've been following your build on ladder bro. Appreciate you. Have you tried running Upheaval as totems instead and why do we run maelstrom over not using warcry or eterra's blessing?

Hey man! Upheaval totem is better damage but I lose armor and endurence threshold because I don't use it myself. Maelstrom is for endurence threshold, and perma frenzy + haste. Warcry is a good option too. Maelstrom works best if you manage to get good advent of the erased boots. (which I didn't) they give tons of less DoT taken and give your totem perma frenzy since you perma refresh haste with malestrom. Edit: I really didn't know what to expect of aberroth damage so I went the safe way. Now that I know the fight I'll probably build a bit more aggressive on my next builds

@@bestmilioplat754 Thanks for answering. How do I know upheaval is affecting the totems via selfcast though? I've been trying that variant and it's quite awkward. What's the purpose of omnis amulet? Only for +1 skills?

If you're talking about the damage boost upheal totems provide to storm totem, you can pretty clearly see the storm totem damage go up if you try to place a storm totem then an upheaval totem behind him. You can test this in the arena map where there is training dummies. Omnis gives the +1 to all skills + a good amount of res. The +1 to all skills makes it so eventually you only want T1 storm totem level sealed and double offensive affix on your helmet (totem cast speed and flat spell for totem for example), and it will be enough to grab all the damage nodes in storm totem. The res from Omnis help clear res affixes on idols, gear and blessing for more life, QoL, or damage mods.
