The offenses are largely equivalent. It's a question which defense will prove stronger. Washington special teams have been quite strong. Washington coaching is a bit fresher and better. Baltimore has the reigning MVP, many more well-established players and has been together longer. No starting NFL QB today has a better feel for optimizing the read-option than uber fast and accurate Daniels. Baltimore is more a franchise of wild stars who believe in themselves - Washington more a team of disciplined players who believe in each other. Washington's uptempo offense could be a difference-maker against less disciplined, and highly penalized Baltimore. Washington's linebackers are increasingly unpredictable and aggressive. Washington as a team has more emotional momentum, but Baltimore's home crowd may neutralize this. Might make a difference that last Sunday Washington got to rest top players in the 4th quarter; while Baltimore tops had to strain to play an extra quarter in OT. Seems like this game is a bigger motivating deal for Washington than for Baltimore. This is basically a coin flip game. May come down to a few random extra efforts, turnovers, and penalties. Even being in a 50/50 game against the Ravens is already a massive achievement. Congrats to all! RIP Pat Fisher - he is exactly what Quinn is looking for - and finding! Win or lose, I am proud of the Commanders. They have earned their respect.

Baltimore's conditioning is also suspect as the Ravens have developed a bad habit of unusually deep sagging late in games. That said, it will take some luck for either team to prevail.

Pat Fisher (37l was my favorite when I was a kid! I can still see him flipping Larry Czonka over his shoulder. Pat was a small guy, if you dont remember, and Larry was a big strong FB on the SB Champion Dolphins. I learned, "hit them low and wrap them up" from watching him play.
