For those unaware, the Mind Control mechanic in Strat UD has a 50% hp threshold before it breaks. Any delay in the player breaking MC at 50% is just server lag; the moment that MCed target reaches 50%, stop DPS. Also decurse the tank so they can hit the damn boss, but good luck finding a player who has dispel curse on their bars. WOW, AS IM TYPING THIS I NOTICED THAT MAGE DOESN'T HAVE DECURSE ON HIS BARS... @@Yue_Jin I watched Frostadamus' video. He stated the loot was Round Robin, meaning the mage was forced to pass on the recipe, and that was what pushed the mage to grief. Whoever's right or wrong, the mage griefed and should be justly punished. He could've easily asked the priest if he could buy it from him.

the bar for "griefing" is lower and lower, is the problem with this in my mind. it could be argued that the political dimension of positioning oneself at the mercy of others is itself a part of the hardcore gaming experience. if you are going to rely on a group, you expose yourself to a certain degree of risk to treachery, incompetence, and other things. itt's easy to sit and cynically appraise this situation as, "well, we all know he did this on purpose" and it could be true. maybe this perrson should be known to others as "that guy," certainly. if evryon decided to blacklistt him from group content because of it, ok. but that is very diffrerent from saying the game company itself should try to stop this risk retroactively with bans. also restore the other guys charactere? why not, if consistent??

@@Mickleon Even with gear, it's a wheelchair class. warrior quest weapon that helps a ton midlevel, but after you outlevel it, it goes back to hard mode. I regretted making a warrior my first character in classic the first time around. You don't even get real attacks till like the mid-30s. Meanwhile rogue is basically leveling on training wheels. It starts at level 1 with an instant attack and never looks back. Only someone that never leveled a warrior thinks otherwise.

Oh, Tyler's 2H tanking as a warrior? Respect. Not really necessary at that patch point (or for single-pulling mobs, I know I know, Hardcore), but 2H tanking used to be a thing way, way back in the early release years, before they finally fixed aggro gen. Especially for LBRS and UBRS... you just didn't stand a chance of holding aggro during pack pulls unless you were 2H and cleaving.

At 9:22 - No frost armor, no arcane intellect, the other character in her party didn't have their normal mage buffs either. Then they split up and wondered why they died. Both were absolute garbage players and deserve to go back to brill. They absolutely do not deserve to make it past level 20. Also, as for Tyler1 getting to level 60. The game is indeed very easy when you're playing a warrior (the easiest class in the game) and have a pocket healer at all times. So that he could understand this comment - it's like playing Rammus against Ashe and you have Soraka following you around at all times to make sure you're good.
