HCPC accepts the primary qualification in any field, i.e. bachelor's degree. Meaning Bachelor's is enough for the registration. However, you can fill both forms, if you like.

They have filled up learning outcome achieved on completion of the qualification but did not fill up learning outcome achieved by each course as it was not mentioned into official syllabus course during that time. AS I had total 24 subject, and only 4 subjects have outcome mentioned in syllabus which is there in HCPC course form filled up by university. University kept saying we can't write down because it was not in university syllabus during that time. HCPC acknowledges the primary professional qualification/bachelor's degree usually. If your bachelor's is in the list, you can apply for that particular profession. If in doubt, you can confirm it from HCPC directly.

HCPC registration is basically applied on the basis of primary qualification which in most cases is a Bachelor's degree. So Bachelor's CIF is a must. Attaching Master's CIF can help with covering all the standards of proficiency in detail. So, you can attach both CIF forms.

Well, we haven't come across such query before, as course curriculum is something that is easily accessible online or from the college office. However, We would suggest you to try and convince your college that it's a must have document to apply for HCPC registration and the application can only be submitted by the candidate online. You can reassure them that HCPC will contact them about the authenticity of the submitted documents and they can then verify it as per their rules, regulations and with all confidentiality. Hello Ubaid, Many thanks for this vital info, I submitted my form in April 2023, to register as physiotherapist. I struggled a lot in filling the CIF. I am also a BPT graduate from India, passed in 2011. The hcpc asked me for further information in the form of 3 case summaries( MSK, neuro and cardio). In response to submitting the further information , I received a Test of competence to be conducted in September 2023. It shall be a 90 minutes interview, where I will be presented with clinical scenarios from each of the key core areas of physiotherapy. I will be asked questions that determine my ability to asses the clinical situation, make autonomous decisions regarding the setting, reviewing, modifying the treatment plan and treatments provided. They will also question my knowledge and understanding relating to research. Kindly guide me Ubaid regarding my current situation as to the books / websites that I need to refer , training needed ? and be prepared to face this exam with confidence.

Hello, if you have completed you graduation in physiotherapy and as part of the graduation have completed your mandatory clinical training then you can apply for hcpc. There is no limit of how much experience you need. But if you have a large career gap (more than 1 year) between your graduation and your hcpc application with no relevant work experience in between then you will have to prove in your application how you stayed up to date with the profession during this time. Hi, the 1st page of the CIF should bear the stamp and seal of the Principal/Dean along with their official email id. This serves the purpose effectively, as hcpc does verify the documents by contacting them via email.

It has to be a machine readable format. Which means a document on which you can copy the text. Submit it as a ‘word file’ or a ‘machine readable pdf’ file.

If you have studied those subjects and they are mentioned in your curriculum, it will be a good practice to mention them in CIF. Providing as much detail as possible saves the time during application assessment.
