If you guys watch Kpop star.. you will agree .. lee hi vocal get better. she just a little uncomfortable on stage back then. comparing to park jimin, I like lee hi better. +Dviiena Dviiena OMG! The "comedian wannabe on variety show". this made laugh. and with this, i couldn't agree more. That's why i always find it hard to like those artists who appear more on variety shows (like countless times in a year) and knowing how Korean variety are so scripted, ugh. YG artists always admit that they're bad on variety specially if they're with people outside YG. but you could always see how comfortable they are when they appear on variety (which is really rare) with other YG artists.

I understand where you're coming from but most groups don't have the privilege to just release music and be successful. They need exposure and those variety shows so that they can become known and grow a fanbase. Artists from YG, SM and JYP don't neccessarily need that.

I don't have anything against BB and Ikon, but I'm really disappointed in YG for not placing higher priority on Lee Hi's comeback. BB members were all very active last year (GD, Taeyang, Seungri and Daesung all put out solo albums and TOP put out a single and had his own movie acting gigs). YG has devoted more than a full year to constantly promoting Winner and Ikon, which makes me all the more impressed at how well Lee Hi has done in the past with only a tiny fraction of the promotional attention that has been given to the new boy groups. I'm trying to be optimistic, but the way YG seems to be unjustifiably ignoring Lee Hi is starting to really get on my nerves. She deserves so much better...and I'm hoping that YG is going to do right by her. But still...nothing but silence from YG on any plans for Lee Hi this year. In the past, whenever I saw a really talented solo artist on Kpop star, I was kind of hoping that they would get signed by YG, but seeing how he's handled Gummy and now Lee Hi, I would probably recommend that solo artists stay away from YG in the future.

Rolf Senmark he is not ignoring Lee HI, YG already interviewed about it and he said Lee Hi is still on composing and learning her own style of music and YG doesn't want to rush her so that she can create quality songs that can be remembered by people. We all know YG don't want his artist just to become famous. he wants them to become an artist that will make their own mark in their fields. that is why he always says patience is always a key to success.

Alden Dencio Lim I hope that is the case and I definitely look forward to her self-composed songs in the future. :o) I still think it would be a good idea for her to keep in more regular contact with her fans though -- even if it's just by doing some really nice and professionally recorded covers (on youtube) of other songs or different versions of her own songs (the way that 2NE1 used to do nice videos of remakes or reggae versions of their previous songs or collaborations with people like the guitarist Jung Sungha). Just something like that once a month or even once every 2 months would make a big difference. Even now, there are still so many people who don't know anything about the songs on her album, except 1234 and Rose -- because she never has a chance to perform them. (If properly promoted with just simple, but high-quality videos (like AKMU did with "Eyes, Nose Lips"), she would be able to keep her current fanbase interested and continue attracting new fans to her fanbase.) There are a lot of relatively simple, inexpensive and time-efficient things that could be done to better promote Lee Hi, while still keeping her on the serious artist path. The fact that YG doesn't even do those simple things and keeps her almost completely isolated from fans for long periods of time are what concern me. For example, when she sang "You, So Far Away" at the Bucheon Film Festival, it would have been quite easy for YG to make a high-quality video/recording of the performance for her fans to see on youtube. Instead, we have to rely on fellow fans to upload smartphone recordings. In the YG Family concerts, why not have her sing "Turn It Up" when she's introduced? Everyone loves that song, and it would be a great way for her to make an impression on new fans at the concerts. You know, just little things like that. I love 1234 and Rose, but I find it strange that YG has never let her sing any of her other First Love album songs in public since her album promotions ended in spring 2013 -- almost 2 years ago. I too don't want to see her get caught up in an exhausting schedule that keeps her so busy that she can't really develop as an artist.
