It's great to know that I can replace every single part of it -- including cosmetic customization and pad material. And since they have been in production for over 30 years, that's not going to change in the near future. The HD25 is the workhorse of headphones, and it's a symbol of german engineering.

@leezalee73782 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by closed back? Thank you
@matheusnews2 жыл бұрын
@@leezalee7378 closed back headphones are isolated, they don't have an air passage through the back of the speaker. Great for noisy environments, recording, stage monitoring. Open back headphones, such as the big classic Sennheiser HD 600, have a bigger "soundstage" due to the open back that lets air flow, they have a little bit less punchy bass, but more defined bass and a bigger "soundstage", the music feels bigger. But they let any noise pass in and out, not good for noisy environments or listening to anything you're ashamed of haha cause it leaks a lot.
@leezalee73782 жыл бұрын

@evshrug4 жыл бұрын
My Panera Bread cafe had a pair of HD 202 for watching training vids... whenever I was on dishes and nobody was training, they let me use them 😃 The HD 25 were originally designed as reusable airplane headphones for the high class passengers, but they’re also good for performing musicians in the recording booth or DJ’s on stage. If the cord frayed and broke on the HD 25, it’s actually detachable and you could just replace it. EarPads are replaceable too. There are some people who still have and use their HD 25 from when it was released in 1988!!

They look cheap, because they're made with plastic. But the plastic used in HD25 is very very tough, that brings durability and lightness. I sold mine because of their high clamp force. Don't get me wrong, as the video said, HD25 is for mobile monitoring, so robust, light and stable are what they should be. I don't fancy metal, that adds weight. I hope Senneheiser keep that principle, make more robust, light weight (under 250g) , great sounding consumer headphones.

Les endroits où l' électronique est installé, est souvent une pièce pas des plus éclairé. Et vue la taille de l' enbout c' est très facile de passer à coté de ce detail et commencer à regretter son achat. Enfin moi ça va. Merci. En espérant n' avoir rien abîmer. @@rajan8479 @Hmm the headphones are great, they've been the most durable headphones I've owned for DJ'ing, strong, great sound and every part is replaceable so if something breaks you can just replace the one piece instead of buying a brand new pair of headphones. As far as movie editing goes, I think I would go for a studio headphone over these. These sit on ear and not over the ear so prolonged use would probably start to hurt your ears a bit and there's really no noise cancelation. If you're just looking to do editing here and there and don't plan on doing ultra long sessions they'll be fine but after doing 5 or 6 hour dj sets with these on, my ears tend to feel a little sore.
