I lost my boy Ruger, 2 1/2 weeks ago. He looked very much like Scout. He was like my son. My heart still hurts so very much. I miss him every day. He was only 3 years old. Its great to see a guy and good Shepherd, out in the woods, just enjoying their time together.

11:55 Another solution to stop your log from rolling is to use a digging stick and scrape a quick trench for it. Doesn't have to be deep (just an inch or two and just the length of the log). Quicker and simpler than making stakes.

Another good one man. We spoke about possible classes on axe work - safety etc a while ago. This could be an answer to that. This video had some more focus on safe techniques and the how's and whys of it all. Great focus on the right time and place for axe use. And the preservation and care taken to ensure the well being of the neighbouring tree was also a good call. I feel this video added something and had more teachable content than usual which is definitely a positive. I notice the quality of your content continually improving and the work you put into your channel. When I go for a walk through the hardwoods now, I feel I've stepped into your videos. Thanks man.
