There are so few vocalist that sound this pitch perfect when they sing live. Kelly has always sounded amazing in all of her live performances that I have seen. Her vocals are so strong and controlled and still sound beautiful. From this generation of singers few possess such talent like Kelly's. I just adore her in every way. She's so talented and yet still so grounded... she hasn't allowed fame to tarnish her in any way. She's still that Sweet little Texas girl she's always been, she was destined for fame with a voice like hers.

People compare this to Halo, by Beyoncé because it was written by the same guy, but Kelly sings with much more emotion and can sing blues, gospel, country, rock and just about any other genre you can think of. She even sang a song from Phantom of the Opera with Josh Groban. Beyoncé might be able to dance, but she only has one category of singing. Kelly deserves all the success she's had and more. I really think she's underrated and should have won many more awards than she has.

Listen to the album version, then you will understand. Halo and this have the same writer. Because of how songs are recorded, Kelly didn't know it sounded like Halo until the cd started production. She was furious and probably why she used a different arrangement.
