Oh dear, how does everyone get everything so mixed up? Per Kelly herself, Ryan Tedder sent the track to both Kelly and Beyonce without either one knowing of the other. She said it can happen a lot because the writer of the truck doesn't necessarily think both artists will use it. so Kelly wrote the words and the singing Melody to already gone and Beyonce did the same with Halo. then Beyonce being who she is caught wind of it and rushed the Halo release so that everyone would try and say that Kelly copied her when we all know that Beyonce's the one who steals everything. there is a clip of beyonce talking about how people don't like when she comes to their shows because they know she's going to take everything and copy it without giving credit. So Kelly did not want to release already gone because she knew people wouldn't get it correct and just say that Kelly copied Beyonce which was the point of rushing out Halos release. Kelly's track and album was actually recorded and pressed first and set to be released first. Beyonce caught wind and pushed up Halo release on purpose to be in front of already gone. To reiterate already gone was recorded and pressed before Halo. for the record and on-the-record Ryan Tedder has flat out said that he thinks already gone is a far superior song and Kelly is a far superior writer.

Well, I understood from an interview that Kelly had that she co-wrote the lyrics with Ryan and he gave her a melody, and Beyonce came into the studio with him, heard "Already Gone" and said that she wanted a song just like that and she (Beyonce) made sure that she put it out before Kelly. I also heard from this interview that kelly did not want Already Gone on her album, but her record label made her put it on and release it as a single....that's why I said Beyonce took her song....
