My parents got the 2017 Lexus IS200t F-Sport for a loaner car while our hybrid was getting serviced... absolutely loved it. First turbo car I ever got to drive. I can only imagine how awesome the is350 F Sport is. I'm now looking at buying a 2007 Lexus IS350. I have found my new favorite car lol

@@Nattymatty7 BMWs are great but they tear up by themselves... fuel pumps, carbon build up...oil leaks... I would go for Lexus you will have the legendary Toyota reliability and smoothness. With the performance.

@@frostep_pro6758 Not only that but I think it's 1000x more fun to drive if you're driving the is350 F sport (coming from a current 2016 audi). RWD wont work for me but AWD works for my needs. I actually had an infinity Q50s in 2014 (the yr with the new, dual screen, drive by wire, etc) and the mistake I made back then was not getting the is350 F sport!! Here's the KICKER...Acura is finally coming out an updated Type S in 2021. Haven't had time to look into it but Interior looks fierce. www.acura.com/future-vehicles/2021-tlx

This would by far be the $45k performance sedan segment leader if it had a better 0-60. I don't even know how they managed to make a 311hp NA engine a lazy 6 seconds.

Its only 306hp. Nothing has changed performance wise from the past 3years. The only "major" change is the front bumper, that's about it. I have the 2014 is350 F-Sport and its OK. Love the styling though. Thats the thing that caught me. If I would have known how much it lacked in my taste of performance I would have went with the BMW 435I M-Sport with the twin scroll turbo.

Alexd3498 no it ain't. It's the same engine. Just an extra bump of 5 hp from the previous model. You're right with LSD.

I currently have a 2012 Lexus rx350 suv , im thinking between an updated rx350 or this is350 Only thing im scared is that i live in Nyc and potholes will hurt this is350 and people who cant park will scratch the hell out of the bumpers. On my rx350 suv i got bull crash bars on it and goes over potholes with no problem.

I’ve had both the GS was definitely the car I preferred but the IS is more maneuverable considering how much smaller it is but the cabin is not even close to how spacious the GS is.
