@29Ocelot You know, not EVERY partner account gets unlimited time. Especially video game partner accounts, they have TONS of restrictions (Machinima doesn't count since they are more movie-based). Although he could split them into 15 minutes instead of 9 minutes...

@15Protech but you have to keep in mind that EMP is an AoE spell which feedback isn't so it's much easier to use and it can easily drain many HTs with one shot if they're clumped up. it's difficult to spread your HTs to prevent that because they're a) very slow and b) most toss players have them in a seperate control group to prevent one EMP from draining all your HT's energy and 100 shields from a part of your army

@martinarcand1 I don't think so. Proxy means "in place of." I assume it refers to how you're warping in units at a certain other place as opposed to just in your base.

all he needs is a few carriers, he helld out the inital attacks, expanded, and now he needs to hdie some tech and get carriers.. vs reapers just early scout and build static while compressing your base, and early attack on the terran also works

@martinarcand1 That link doesn't show anyone saying proxy is short for proximity. I understand what a proxy pylon is and how it can mean "closer to" instead of "in place of." Everyone wins. :)

@donasaur the fact that he could keep up the macro at 4 bases and that his unit size kept as means his pretty good. Plus, his ghost pulls off pretty spot on emps when needed. at 4 bases, its not uncommon to see even high level korean pros stack up minerals.....if you see properly, even though his minerals was being pooled, his gas was pretty low, thus hindering his production

This game is so epic. This is what ive been waiting for... i learned how to get a good starting position versus terran units combination and such. The only thing i do wonder about is why the terrran didnt immediatly tried to take the game at the start when charge was researching.

@Deviantial Yeah, but you need to EMP them first; hitting them after you get a bunch of storms wont do a thing. Also, Feedback can kill a ghost outright or make him very, very weak. And the most underated aspect of SC2 also comes in play here, the positioning. Templars behind the line of zealots can storm attacking units coming close, but ghosts behind the line of marauders cant EMP the templars. If the ghosts come in front they will just get owned. @MercurialGaming HD is a youtube partner also. i don't get your point, here is mine, explained: youtube partners get paid and rated based on the amount of viewers. by splitting videos, he is essentially doubling or tripling view numbers. it doesn't count each computer as a unique viewer, it counts each view. HD does not have a 15 or 20 minute max, as youtube has changed the rules and is allowing partners longer vids

@alexandregareau I agree. It seems like the Protoss has to work too hard to beat the Terran's forces in TvP. The way I see it the Protoss have a much harder time in this matchup, with the Terran dictating the flow of battle. Not to mention the dropships constantly being abused around the map, cutting the Terran's army almost in half at times, and yet the MMM is still able to deal with a full Protoss army.

@Eraz0rZ The food difference wasnt big, even with the slightly bigger eco. It just makes no sense whatsoever that, with a comparative army size, more upgrades and higher tech units, you cant end the game. Also, no idea how this will eventualy end obviouslly, but every single TvP I've seen recently points towards the balance issue. It's simple maths. T = cheap base tactic, cheap response to every P counter to it P= very expensive counters to MMM, that can all easily be negated by the T.

very cool game... i like the smooth transition for expansions of terran but he is just not adjusting his unit composition at all (a lil bit of mech and few more vikings when your economy is in good health). i like the protoss composition (except the exclusion of immortals but i think he figured he could counter with templars and collosi). if terran changes his unit composition now and goes easy on the stims and continues his multi-prong attack, he should seal the deal but the same for protoss!

@narsil1984 i do not really agree the toss has had less income for quite some time, eventho it is not much. After a while it starts to accumulate and when that happened the toss player was using higher tech unit\s. While the terran ammassed MMM and had the larger army. Eventho they are hard counters 1 zealot wont kill 100 lings either. So its a numbers vs tech game.

@antasaur He hardly had any marines, it was pretty much just mass mara and medivac with ghost support. The toss went Colossus, which I think was a bad idea. He should have gone into VRs. Saved up about 3, got them charged and pushed out he could've destroyed a few bases and gained momentum and ended the game before the Terran could mass enough vikings to counter.

@alexandregareau He is also using ghosts to emp, you realise that he loses when he gets good storms. he is only able to pressure the protoss because he has a much better economy.
