I have to say, I am not a Twilight fan (though I think it has potential to be better than what we got), but The Host wasn't that bad, not bad at all. :D Though as sorry as I feel for the humans who get taken over by the Souls, I feel bad for the Souls, too, them having to inhabit other living bodies to survive, that's rather sad. I like for the most part how this ended, and I hear they may be making a sequel (though I haven't heard that confirmed), but I hope the Souls find a new way to survive and live peacefully alongside the humans. :)

I actually wacted this recently because of twilight. I saw that saga and kinda hated it. So this movie pass along. But recently someone said that it was a good movie so i took a shot and I was amazed with this. defetly should have more credit than it as. And stephenie Meyer should be reconized by this not by the twilight. because this was beautiful. So much amazing in all ways.

The book is so much better. So deep! You wouldn't say it was wrote by the same person of the twilight saga. I'm don't even hate twilight, but, in my opinion, the host is really different!

+BlackHawkRA I honestly dont want a sequel because I already loved the way it ended and I don't want a sequel to ruin it
@BriEva137 жыл бұрын
BlackHawkRA I have a theory on how the new two books should be written. the way I see it the second book should be in Burns POV. I WANT TO KNOW HOW HE WENT NATIVE! But more then that I feel like Burn's story is completely different from Wanda's. I feel like his host wasn't like Mel's, where he has another voice in his head. No I feel like Burn's on his own turned against his kind and I want to know why? with Wanda it's because of Mel that she eventually strove off to find Jared and Jaime. Without Mel I feel like Wanda would have been like Sunny, sad and Always waiting for the Seekers to find their bodies. That isn't the only reason why I want the second book to be told in Burn's POV the other reason is Wanda got her happy ending, and thing more from her would feel forced and just stirring up the pot. Unnecessary drama. Burn's wouldn't have that issue and we would get to see the other human pockets as Burn's travels. Which I feel would be another difference between the stories. Yes Wanda did travel but she mainly stayed in the caves except for the first and last portions of the book. Seeing Burn's traveling all over the country, meeting more and more humans slowly changing him mind....I want to see that. For the last story I want to Know about that mixed species family Wanda, Ian and Jared saw. What happened to those two souls? To their child? How does the rest of the Soul community react to the mother refusing to offer her son as a host? I need to know these things. However I'm worried what if Stephanie decides to keep following Wanda's story to try and add more off of it?
@SnowSNS117 жыл бұрын
BriEva13 you got me interested. Honestly when I finished the book yesterday, I was very interested to this Burns. It could also stir some love triangle (the author seems to like love triangles), a little challenge for Wanda and Ian. I find Melanie and Jared's relationship kinda cheesy, so not interested in that like the first time. I thought its a love triangle between the parasite, Jared, and Mel. I'm so glad, Ian had a change of heart. Kyle tho xD
