Whenever I watch this, as the theme hits its Apex, I can tell the composers were going for a grand, epic finale feel of the original trilogy! 20 years later, hearing that intro theme still gives me goosebumps! The last really great Matrix film!

Sitting here remembering the 90's when the first film came out. It was all the rave in LA and New York--the cyber punk scene. I can vividly remember the long discussions people would have about the film, its concept, its supporting ideas, its references...and now, I am kind of scared that most of what The Matrix warned about has been unfolding since the mid-2010s. Cinema is there to certainly entertain us, but it is also there to advise us...

I really like so much this intro. Between the four, this is my favourite by far. I mean, just look at that fractals glowing up from the center of the screen. It is pure energy that Neo will be capable to see later. The music... that music puts you in context: a terrible battle or catastrophy wil come... very soon, a glance of fate, the end and begining. I just have a complain, and it is the part of the buildings followed by the code. I think it's somehow... anticlimatic 😅😅 But the best part for me is... and also in the other intros... when the Warner's logo is apearing... insuperable!!! Because you are entering... into the Matrix.

My goodness, Don Davis, I do miss your talent.
