I remember going there. I was sad when I found out they closed at the end of 2016 (found out last year). The last time I was there was all the way back in March 2013. I was 12 at the time. Watching this brings back memories.

This was one of my faves. I went there when I was 6-12 years old and it’s a shame I was a afraid of water slides at that time because they had the best slides.. I wish they never got rid of it but love the nostalgia and thanks for posting

It's being transformed since the park is owned by universal studios which is right next door to the universal Orlando resort.

I'm not really a fan of water parks, but this will be my first time visiting Florida from the UK, and i seriously cant wait to go Wet n Wild, it really does look fun, and the rides look so wicked as well, I'm also looking forward to visiting Aquatica as well

+kc270352 not sure why you'd say that. Disney's main parks may be too kiddy for older folk but disney water parks are excellent fun suitable for everyone. Check out typhoon lagoon or blizzard beach.

Thanks for this great video, unfortunately the Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Universal will close Wet n' Wild at the end of the 2016 operating season. I loved going to this, the grandfather of all modern water parks, as a kid. Looks like I'll have to head to Wet n' Wild one last time to take photos and videos for my website.

+Sharkbruh360 Bites yes they are and it will close on Dec 31, 2016 and will be completely razed. It is rumored that Universal will use it for a hotel site. UOR is opening their own water park called Volcano Bay right next to the Cabana Bay Beach Resort. It doesn't make sense to have two water parks within a half mile of each other so that is why Wet n' Wild Orlando will be closing at the end of this year.
