It’s been found. I don’t know how to find it but a KZbinr “dino Diego” saw the full pilot and summarised it.

I remember searching for this pilot episode around the internet, not knowing this documentary was the only place where you can find it. Lol.

Why didn't Baryonyx make the cut in Walking with Dinosaurs ?
@dylangeltzeiler9463 жыл бұрын
It sure would’ve been interesting seeing a Spinosaur in the series. But they decided a Utahraptor.
@adamzabielski36853 жыл бұрын
@@dylangeltzeiler946 They should've kept Utahraptor in the North America scene, with Baryonyx and Neovenator in Europe
@dylangeltzeiler9463 жыл бұрын
@@adamzabielski3685 Maybe they should’ve called it a Deinonychus. I wonder if it’s possible that Deinonychus were known to be in Europe? Since Europe & America were still together in the Early Cretaceous Period.
@adamzabielski36853 жыл бұрын
@@dylangeltzeiler946 Europe had been a collection of islands throughout the Mesozoic, and was too far away for any American raptor to reach, say, England. Like Ornithocheirus, it would've had to cross the Atlantic, but by comparison, it would've been impossible for a raptor to do the feat a pterosaur could do with ease

@@adamzabielski3685 I see what you are saying, I personally think the 2 scenes should’ve been swapped, with the North American iguanodon being used as an example on utahraptor, whilst the European iguanodon were used as an example of how wildlife started developing chewing teeth
