Ur brother is a smart man, marry a foreign lady. If it's a Singaporean lady, high chance she will be very demanding and would not want to live in a humble 2-room flat (38 sqm). She will go for big HDB flats or even private property (condo, etc.).

Hi Emily, so far no issues and quite reliable.. uses a battery ignition which most newer houses these days will get and more trustworthy. There is a service centre in SG and Living Phenomenon also helped to liase. They have good service.

2 room BTO cannot have kids because no place for kids to sleep - need at least 3 room minimum. Unless the couple don't want kids is ok. I bought a 45sqm 2 room BTO as a single because I don't intend to have kids, the most 2 person can stay with a queen size bed and double wardrobe. Still, living in a 2 room flat is very claustrophobic because the living area is very small - feels like living in a hotel room.
