Just wondering the standard window fittings can you do without them and use your own windows, maybe swing/sliding kind? Or hdb expects the building to look the same on the outside?

Hi there. HDB expects the building exterior to be standardised. Hence, all window installations will require permit. Only approved designs may proceed

Thank you for the interest. We didnt want to mount our storage heater onto the ceiling as it is directly above the toilet bowl. It will be disastrous if it falls

We wanted to take 4 room, however these days, between price, location and size, we can only choose 1. If we had ballot for 4rm, the applicant to unit ratio was 12:1. That means that we have to ballot for 12 times on average to get a 4rm flat in this project
