Very informative video madam , One question , My father is a type 1 diabetic patient with very normal sugar level ( controlled) , we r giving treatment in very good hospital now , and will continue check up further as well from our side, other than diabetic my father doesn't have any pre existing disease . Question : As my father is a diabetic patient , and he doesn't have any ped other than diabetic. Assume moving onwards any other disease attacked him like covid , heart , kidney related problems, that time automatically sugar level will come down , in this situation will there be any chances that optima restore and optima secure policy will reject our claim saying, your father has pre existing diabetic which will not cover for 36 months . No co payment. Zone 1 and zone 2 ke premium different hote hain, but you can take treatment anywhere in India without any co payment / sub limit it is a fully covered policy. Estimated Percentage increase of the premium - 2-4%

Thank you ma'am for your effort and this is one of the good comparison video for all HDFC ERGO health insurance plans. Few doubts in this. I did purchased last week Optima secure plan for my family and received policy document Once received proposal form, I see that my wife height get added 7 CM extra in that. Is this will create any issue while claim process. I have contacted HDFC team and they told that it will not have any issue as it might have small increase or decrease year on year. Need your thought around this ? How can we purchase as health Medisure Super Top Up while having Optima secure ? For example if I take 5 lacks sum insured in Optima secure, since its have plus benefit, Do I have to choose 10 lacks as base sum insured while opting this Super Top Up or even more ? Also in this you called out that video Optima secure will have following riders Unlimited restore benefit Critical illness benefit Hospital cash benefit. However during purchase time, they have informed that currently Unlimited restore benefit is not availble at this time. In future they have plan to add it. Not mentioned much about Critical illness benefit. Also can you explain how this rider will works and Is this good idea to purchase this rider along with Health policy or good to have as rider in term policy.

Very nice video Madam! You have said that Modern treatments are covered in My Health Suraksha policy also. But, if you check the Policy brochure and Policy wordings, it is not mentioned. For that matter, even their new product Optima Secure, launched 2 years back, also do not cover the modern treatments as per the policy documents. Only their flagship product, Optima Restore explicitly states the inclusion of Modern treatments in its policy documents. So, can you please double-check and verify with HDFC if possible, and confirm if modern treatment is included in Health Suraksha (and Optima Secure) also? Thanks once again for the nice comparison.
