Correctly pointed that this offer is for new customers onboarding but I have a friend and his mother is govt employee and still the card got rejected when asked customer care while the application is still inprocess. Also my mother has an addon core credit card and had ltf swiggy pre approved which was applied through RM and it got rejected stating that the add on card is core cc. HDFC is just rejecting applications without considering anything.

I have too applied with my 2nd number. but they rejected after vkyc. mentioned "due to internal policies". but i have a gut feeling that they already noticed i am not a new user and already holding another hdfc co branded cc. they can catch this by pan number ofcourse. i am feeling this is why my application was rejected

Agar 72hrs mein nehi karte ho to, baad mein tumhara location pe offline kyc ke liye executive aa jayega, tumhe uska name aur phone no either sms or mail or WhatsApp pe a jayega(provided serviceable location hoga tab). Mera case mein aisa hi hua tha.
