I say it all the time, I miss the 80s. For me, it was a decade of high school and college. People talked to each other while looking them in the eyes. One didn't even have to know that person. We were so much more communicable, and caring for the people around us. We were optimistic for the future and we had respect for our parents and those in authority. The music and movies were the best. The big hair and colorful apparel just added to that decade's appeal. Be well and be blessed.

The huge difference in have definitely observed in behavior today and back when I grew up... These days , I suppose BC behind a Screen of a Laptop or Tablet, ppl really try to tear into others, I grew up in the 80s, emotions were not stigmatized, polarized. it's like the average oerso today is do scared to sjow authentic Human Emotions.. For instance email on INSTAGRAM, I EMOTES to someone AND INSTAGRAM JUST STRAIGHT UP DELETES ALL OF MY COMMENTS. .. that is not tighy! Trust the Gunther Spread Hatred Symbols of Hate Factions.. SYMBOLS VIA TWITTER ND THEY SUSPEND HIS TWITTER GORDON A SOLID HOUR!!! That's up there with GEORGE FLOYD'S MURDER BEING GIVEN A MEAL FROM BURGER KING FOLLOWING HIS ARREST.... I WISH OUR DOJ WAS NOT SO DAMN DELAPIDATED as it has become. THIs INSTITUTION the DOJ was initiated out of the need to protect MINORITY nd marginalized POPULATIONS FROM HATE CRIMES.... My generation was full of love, real friendships. WE WATCHED SHOWS LIKE THE CARE BESRS, WINNIE THE POOH, THE NEVERENDING STORY, WE PLAYED WITH HUGGABLE HAVE FOLKS, LOL IN THE 80S ND 90'S THE MUSIC WAS BEUTIFUL. THE NEW ROMANTICS, NEW WAVE, BRITISH INVASION IN MUSIC. I HOLD MY MEMORIES CLOSE CLOSE CLOSE TO MY HEART Ppl, Community involvement, MUSIC, ART, CREATIVITY AND SELF EXPRESSION IS WHAT IT'S ALL BOUT FOR me ultimately !!! I still have friends in my life, I have literally had relationships with for over 30 plus yrs!

I miss John Cusack. He was such a wonderful actor with a face that could show both apathy and genuine love at the same time. He didn't have a long list of movie credits, but the movies I saw that he was in were all quality. This was my favorite movie that he starred in. This character was so awesome. The "loser" or the "unaccepted" or the "not good enough" yet the one who would love HER with a pure heart. The one that she really "needed" more so than any who might be "better". Well done, Mr. Cusack. Hollywood has gone downhill, because people have forgotten the classic beauty and quality of movies like this and The Breakfast Club. John Cusack and John Hughes were one of a kind.

Love I get so lost, sometimes Days pass and this emptiness fills my heart When I want to run away I drive off in my car But whichever way I go I come back to the place you are All my instincts, they return And the grand facade, so soon will burn Without a noise, without my pride I reach out from the inside In your eyes The light the heat In your eyes I am complete In your eyes I see the doorway to a thousand churches In your eyes The resolution of all the fruitless searches In your eyes I see the light and the heat In your eyes Oh, I want to be that complete I want to touch the light The heat I see in your eyes Love, I don't like to see so much pain So much wasted and this moment keeps slipping away I get so tired of working so hard for our survival I look to the time with you to keep me awake and alive And all my instincts, they return And the grand facade, so soon will burn Without a noise, without my pride I reach out from the inside In your eyes The light the heat In your eyes I am complete In your eyes I see the doorway to a thousand churches In your eyes The resolution of all the fruitless searches In your eyes I see the light and the heat In your eyes Oh, I want to be that complete I want to touch the light, The heat I see in your eyes In your eyes, in your eyes In your eyes, in your eyes In your eyes, in your eyes

Shame we grow old. JohnvCusack did so many good movies of the 80s. We had in my view the best music, movies, cars, entertainment of the time. Shame his career gone down. Great actor.

It’s hard and somewhat very sad to watch this. It’s just that raw passion when you are utterly and totally in absolute love with someone. That one of a kind feeling of giving your whole self, faults and all, to another person and being accepted and loved in return... It almost doesn’t exist anymore.

Spent decades waiting on a guy to come in and play music for me like this... until the day I stopped waiting and tuned in to the inner masculine and realized he'd always been playing the music within my mind to match the frequencies of inner feminine within my heart. 🎶 Music has always been my greatest love, my song is the vibrational frequency of energy that I carry within me and give to the world around me. Be Loved.
