HD Film Tributes Supports Kamala Harris for President! - kamalaharris.com/
I've never done anything like this before with this channel, however this is the most important presidential election of our lifetime. -- Donald Trump is a convicted felon who has also been found liable for both fraud and sexual assault. In addition, he clearly does not respect the democratic process unless the results are in his favor. That is why I am using this channel (and the over one million views it gets per day) to encourage people to vote for Kamala Harris on November 5th. She supports raising the minimum wage, LGBTQ rights, clean energy, and a woman's right to choose. -- I realize that I'll probably lose some subscribers because of this post, and for that I'm sorry because I hate to see anyone go. -- Anyway, thank you for reading.
-- Soundtrack from the 1985 John Hughes film "The Breakfast Club" with Emilio Estevez, Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall, Ally Sheedy & Paul Gleason. -- HD Film Tributes is a channel with over three hundred movie homages currently posted. We make zero money from KZbin as obviously none of these edits will ever be monetized by us. Any and all ad revenue from these videos goes directly to Google as well as to the various copyright owners, just as it should.

It wouldn't make sense to any other generation, and they'd never make a movie just for us aging Gen X'ers. They could maybe make a movie about Gen Z for Gen Z'ers, but that would be a whole different movie, and I wouldn't have a problem with that.

Dear Mr. Vernon, We accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in detention for whatever it was we did wrong. But we think you're crazy to make us write an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us - in the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain, and an athlete, and a basket case, a princess, and a criminal. Does that answer your question? Sincerely yours, The Breakfast Club

I love how even their seating arrangement indicates their position. Claire and Andrew sit next to each other at the front, clean-cut and on display. Bender sits behind them, taking the backseat and watching them with the snarky observations, also partially hidden in their shadow as it were. Brian and Allison are off to the side, both much more isolated than the others, but Brian is in the front (good student with a good image) and Allison is in the back (forgotten wallflower)

70 years old here. I was 31 when this movie came out….my favorite movie of all time. Even though it was about teenagers and what went on in their world, it could apply in some ways to older adults at the time too. I think it’s about claiming all parts of the self and not letting others define you. Having awareness and seeing others for their true selves… a hard thing to do in this culture sometimes.

Ready Player One is a pretty good film too. Books were good as well. Glad anyone younger than me likes the song or the film. Had some guy giving me crap about liking music from the 60's - ( I hadn't been born yet ), and I was like " dude, I may not have been alive when you were being a hippie or whatever but that doesn't mean I can't like and or appreciate the song. Dude was tripping bcz I guess I wasn't there in the exact moment the song was popular. He's lucky that I didn't tell him that his generation of music sucked because he was old , so therefore it didn't apply to me and therefore irrelevant and not worth listening too. I love music , from all kinds of places on Earth, and from various time periods as well. Heck, I like Sinatra too...is someone gonna talk smack bcz I wasn't in the prime of my life when his music was popular? Ignore all the haters and love the music you love!💚🌎🌍🌏💚🚀

Not quite - I read about it yesterday ... it was written for Simple Minds, but they were reluctant, preferring to concentrate on their own music. Note that it was never included on one of their albums. The writers then offered it to Bryan Ferry and Billy Idol, who declined. Then Chrissie Hynde (Jim Kerr's wife at the time) and their manager piled on the pressure, and they recorded it.

Rain keeps falling, rain keeps falling Down, down, down, down Hey, hey, hey, hey Ooh-ooh, ooh-woh Don't you try and pretend It's my feeling we'll win in the end, I won't Harm you or touch your defenses Vanity, insecurity uh-uh!
