"8K upscaling..." This is such pie in the sky... Major TV broadcasters do not even want to move to 4K broadcasting because they do not want to invest in hardware. 8K TVs will remain extreme niche for a few rich folks. A kind request for HDMI Licensing Admin - please sort out finally marketing mess with HDMI 2.1 ports. It turns out that a lot of devices list "HDMI 2.1" port that are in fact old HDMI 2.0b ports with 18 Gbps and 4K/60 capability, without support for FRL signal. It borders with scam.
