I just received mine, carplay works but i tried to connected via my iphone to mirror it and doent work?

Are you trying to connect via USB-C to HDMI Cord?

@@RP12973 It could have to do with the phone... The HDMI is more meant to be used with a separate streaming device. Because it also has CarPlay, it could be that when you connect your phone to it your phone isn't able to "see" it as a display for mirroring.

Makes sense, don’t know why on their videos it shows that they connect the phone and it mirrors on the screen. Plus why would they give you that option on the cable. Thanks for the info

Is that device compatible with already wireless carplay ? Because most of these devices don’t support my wireless carplay !

It only works with car that has carplay built in. If you use this, then this device will replace your built in wireless carplay (as long as it's plugged in).

@@keithjowers4479 They do have them all over Amazon, but I got mine from www.banggood.com - also they have varying reviews. I picked one that had good reviews and also was on sale for $22 so if it didn't work wouldn't be horrible. However, it's worked quite well for me. The controllers are VERY cheap, but do the job. I've meant to try using a bluetooth receiver and one of my nicer controllers, but haven't yet had enough motivation to actually try it. ;-)

What stays stuck on BT connection? That's not enough info to even try to help you out... Did CarPlay work with your car when connected via USB? Does your phone connect to this device at all?

@@jaytab3686 gotcha - yeah, sometimes the initial connection process can be glitchy with any of the wired to wireless adapters. but it usually just takes a couple of tries to get it figured out and connected and then after that it works fine. I don't have an android and I didn't have an issue with this adapter, but I have had something similar happen with other wireless adapters. usually, I would have to have the phone forget the BT connection and then start over from scratch with the initial pairing process.
