You are the true King of HDR Eugene!!! I learn so much from you my man! My dream is that one day you film these precious videos of yours in the gorgeous city of Vancouver!!! There is so much there that would look absolutely fantastic in your videos: the mountains, the modern architecture, stanley park, coal harbour, the creeks!!! And there is not a single decent video on KZbin in High resolution and HDR of van… please do this one day my friend and congrats!! You are our king 👑

Most of the shots were recorded on 12k sensor (12288 x 6480), mastered and uploaded in 8k HDR. *As of now KZbin does Not support Dolby Vision. Dolby Vision version available for licensing only.

Nice and all but KZbin does not support Dolby Vision as far as I know so what's the point in uploading vids in Dolby Vision?

I licensing my work to companies like LG, Samsung, etc. I’m using KZbin as my portfolio for my clients, and it’s extremely important for me, that my clients know that Dolby version is available to them.

Hi Eugene, I really enjoy your content and have actually recommended and linked to it from other comments on other channels before. However, I’m really disappointed though that you’ve decided to join in on the ‘Dolby Vision’ tagline just for clicks. You know full well that even though your content has been mastered in Dolby Vision it doesn’t make it DV here on KZbin as it gets converted to HDR10 standards and the meta data no longer has the higher brightness levels nor the dynamic data that DV does. KZbin, as you know, does not support DV. Can I ask why you are doing this? Genuine question as I’ve had to call out quite a few channels that leach of the back of the DV tag. Once again, appreciate the work you do I’m just trying to be someone that delivers content in a transparent way and feel your work is of such a high quality that you wouldn’t need to mislead.

Hello, and thank you for your recommendation, but I’m not trying to mislead anyone. I licensing my work to companies like LG, Samsung, etc. I’m using KZbin as my portfolio for my clients, and it’s extremely important for me, that my clients know that Dolby version is available to them.

@@EugeneBelsky hi Eugene, and thank you for the reply. As I said I really respect the work you do and I’m aware that companies license it for their own benefit and that’s great to hear. My issue is that you clearly state Dolby Vision in your titles. As you know, people use these videos to test their DV devices and are not seeing the true DV experience if they click on a YT video entitled ‘Dolby Vision’. My question is that you also use other platforms like Vimeo to promote your content and work (which actually does support DV), so why the need to place it here and tagged as DV if you already have an outlet to do this to show your clients as you say? Once again, I mean this with respect, but I’m one of those that’s trying to make things transparent, you know full well that the industry is littered with misleading and click bait info. This isn’t fair on the average user wanting to test their DV device or see what it’s capable of.
