The blue dress with the white trim that she wore was modeled after the same one that my mom wore when she won the Minnesota State high school figure skating championship in 1977, the year prior. The movie was also filmed in Minnesota.

I'm here because of Megan Kelly talking about this movie on her podcast and about her crush on Robbie Benson. In the movie they talk about Dorothy Hamil and Olga Korbut. It's cool hearing about these legendary skaters in their own era. I've watched several videos of these ladies, but it makes you feel a little closer hearing about them so close to when it all actually happened.

I liked this movie, not when I was a kid though, but later. I liked Lynn-Holly Johnson , she was always so cute, she looks great still today.
