You can set your VTX on a switch or and control. Then you can change it in the air, pretty sweet

Also what am I supposed to be paying attention to? cuz in everything there was decent noise just less everytime the mw was bumped up but it was still for the most part there. I only ask cuz your reaction by your voice made it seem like it was a shocking improvement.

Considerably less breakup than previously with same power levels. 25mW around my house is typically unflyable.

There is a new high penetration mode at the expense of lower resolution. That makes him able to fly arround the house, where he typically couldn't.

Thank you for the video. I have only owned 1 HDZ whoop, and it looked great but died after a single 3 foot crash (concrete). Seeing this flight, in such an open space, doesn't really do it for me. It looks like higher quality analog IMHO. I am a bit disappointed, the penetration has not really improved, or perhaps it has BARELY improved. I really have my fingers crossed for HDZ, but I am beginning to lean towards Walksnail. We will see what the next 4 months brings us, until the new year. Shit or get off the pot.

Analog is 420p and 30fps. With hd0 you get triple the bandwidth with comparable range. It looks softer because it uses a fixed bandwidth compression algorithm to be super fast no buffer. That makes it look exactly the same despite of being stopped or on rapid manouvers. It's a system primarly aimed to racers.

@@crash_lander I was really interested in HDzero until I started paying attention to how it broke up and how fast it would go from okay to unusable video feed. Analog does such a good job of progressively letting you know "hey you're getting too far out there buddy, turn around". Same with Walksnail, you get a lot of warning before losing signal. I think for racing HDzero is probably where it shines the most, but unfortunately there still isn't one system that's best in every way.

​​@@crash_landerit seems bad but compared to analog, it's miles better. I enjoy how the picture doesn't warp, change color, stretch etc. The picture under the breakup is still high resolution. I can say I'd never use dji or walksnail again so obviously there's benefits to both. I personally would rather have breakup than unpredictable latency, lag, stuttering etc. Really breaks my immersion and confidence I guess

I think you were stuck at 25mw all the time. It really made no difference when you changed the power levels

He wasn't. If you look at the options while he's changing the power, you'll see lp mode. That's low power mode. when you disarm, it brings the power down to 25mw then when you arm again, it goes to the selected power level. Confused me at first too. You can change it in betaflight as well

(using analog here) at 25mW I also never could go arround the house, but at 400mW I see almost no breakup.

I would say yes. Right now the goggles + 4 stubbies combo is just $549 till 9/10. Then you would need the Nano 90 + the Freestyle VTX, and a 150mm mipi cable. My setup is similar, but I’m using AXII stubbies and TrueRC X2 Air MK2s.

540p 60 only works with the Nano 90, and yes the latest RC firmware.

There is a setting to change in the most recent RC firmware for 540p 60. The nano 90 will do 540p 90/ 720p 60 out of the box.

So was mine!!! I took it apart and cleaned the wheel and under it the best I could with alcohol and paper towels. IT WORKS NOW!!! Only thing I would suggest is to do both sides as the right one still isn't working. I can access the settings now though, just have to cycle through them It has 1080p 😮😅🎉
