The resolution is for sure not 720P but stream in HD 720P. Probably 480 resolution which is the standard VGA

Nano V3 for the win. Already ordered the Freestyle but I don't like the Lux picture as much as regular mipicable builds. Challange to Carl: Bind and Fly HDZero 65mm whoop with Nano V3-4 mipi-cabled all up weight

Nah AIO is much better IMO you cant get the performance on a 65 with the two boards that you can with the AIO. The Lux is just about as good as the nano V3 as far as image quality goes.

Nice video Dan! I have a couple questions for you that don’t really apply to the lux cam lol. Why do you use the NBD race aio? Just curious and also how is the hdzero aio holding up with the bike guy you mount and the esc on those high kv fireflies? I was thinking about a similar build when I get my aio on Friday.

NBD race AIO is my fav analog race board. Works great for me, I never have video issues with the built in vtx. makes bulding a 16g 702 whoop super simple. The AIO has held up great for me - i have 3 and they all still work perfect. I know AK and Custom both killed theirs though. The high kv motors are fine on it. I have run the skrrt and the fireflies with no issues and you see how i fly it.

Im using the Bikeguy mount. it doesnt really protect the lens. I would print the one Ryan Quellet made that is on Thingiverse. The bikeguy mount works great for the Eco though. You can buy that at Aerialoutlaws.com

How would you say the Lux cam compares to something like walksnail? I ended up going with walksnail for my whoop just because the eco didn't look like much of an improvement over analogue, but the Lux looks much better!

I haven't flown walksnail much. That typically looks better than HDZero from what I have seen but its heavier and not fixed latency I dont believe. Im bias but I think HDZero is where you want to be for whoops. They are gonna keep innovating for sure.

Does Lux ship with protective film that we need to peel off. I cannot tell if it’s there but I’m extremely sure it’s there?? Cuz if you keep it on, you see glare
